Christopher A. Gregg

Christopher Gregg has over 20 years experience in public and quasi-public law. He serves as city attorney for the City of Shoreacres and the City of South Houston. Mr. Gregg serves as assistant city attorney for the City of Kemah, the City of Nassau Bay, and the City of Webster. He serves as Municipal Court Prosecutor for the City of Iowa Colony and the City. He serves as Assistant Municipal Court Prosecutor for the Cities of Kemah, Brookside Village, Webster, Nassau Bay and Manvel. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Hampden-Sydney College in Hampden-Sydney, Virginia in 1993 and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 1996. After receiving his license in 1996, he has practiced law continuously in Harris, Galveston, Brazoria and Fort Bend counties. His practice includes the representation of public law entities, homeowner associations, commercial litigation, the law of associations, the drafting of public law ordinances, resolutions and agreements, real estate documents and contracts for many forms of business endeavors, employment law and personnel matters, the drafting of corporate documents, the establishment of profit and non-profit corporations, landlord-tenant law and collection matters. His trial experience includes the trial of matters relating to collections, real estate, contracts, enforcement of deed restrictions, forcible detainers, and enforcement of municipal ordinances and other public law related litigation. He prepares closing documents for Homeland Title Company, Stewart Title Company and JSC Federal Credit Union for all types of real estate transactions. Dick H. Gregg, III

Dick Gregg, Jr. has a wide range of governmental and quasi-governmental law experience. He is currently the City Attorney for the City of Nassau Bay, City of Kemah, City of Webster, City of South Houston and the City of South Houston Economic Development Corporation. He has acted as the City Attorney for the Cities of League City, Arcola, Pearland, and Seabrook. He has served as Special Counsel for the City of Arcola and has in the past been Special Counsel for the League City Economic Development Corporation. Mr. Gregg was Special Counsel for the Incorporators of the Cities of Nassau Bay and Simonton (i.e. incorporation of these two cities). He has represented Brazoria County Conservation and Reclamation District No. 3, in Alvin, Texas and Brazoria Drainage District, No. 4, in Pearland, Texas for special litigation. He has been Special Counsel for Real Estate Sale or Acquisition for the Clear Creek Independent School District. At this time he is acting as counsel to Bay Area Houston Convention & Visitor's Bureau, the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership, Bay Area Assistance League and Armand Bayou Nature Center. Mr. Gregg began his career as Assistant Attorney General of Texas in 1964-1965. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas at Austin in the years 1961 and 1964 respectively. He has been licensed since 1964 in the State of Texas and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Mr. Gregg has practiced law continuously for over 50 years in Harris, Galveston and Brazoria counties. His practice includes representation of public law entities, employment law and personnel matters, the drafting of corporate documents and contracts, establishment of for profit and not for profit corporations, the law of associations, parliamentary procedure, the drafting of public law ordinances, resolutions and agreements, interlocal agreements, franchises, real estate documents and of contracts for many forms of business endeavors. His trial experience includes the trial of matters relating to zoning, elections, annexation, usury, telephone and water supply service agreements and telephone service rate regulation, challenges to rule making authority of a public body, regular and inverse condemnation, removal from office of a public officer, nuisance, intellectual property, real estate, contract, consumer and deceptive trade practice issues. Mr. Gregg is or has been a member of the board of directors and officer, if in parentheses, for League City Chamber of Commerce, Armand Bayou Nature Center (Former President), Armand Bayou Foundation, Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre (Former Chairman), Space Center Rotary Club (Former President), Bay Area Alliance for the Arts (Former Co-Chairman), Lunar Rendezvous Foundation, Bay Area Transportation Partnership (Former Board Member), Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce (Former Chairman), Clear Creek Education Foundation (Former Board Member), and Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership. Mr. Dick Gregg, III has a wide range of Governmental law experience. He serves as the Presiding Municipal Court Judge for the cities of Dickinson, Seabrook and Morgan's Point. As an Associate Judge, he is the primary backup performing judicial services for the Cities of League City and La Porte. In 2020, he was awarded the Judge of the Year from the Texas Municipal Court Association. He serves as the city attorney for the City of Clear Lake Shores, the City of Brookside Village and the City of Bayou Vista. Gregg & Gregg contracts with numerous cities to provide prosecutorial services where he serves as the lead prosecutor, including but not limited to, the cities of Kemah, Webster, Nassau Bay, Brookside Village, Bayou Vista and Manvel. He also represents Galveston, County MUD #6 and serves as special counsel to Galveston County WCID#12. Mr. Gregg received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government from the University of Texas in 1989 and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 1992. He has been licensed since 1992 in the State of Texas and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He has practiced law continuously in Harris and Galveston Counties, and occasionally in Brazoria and Fort Bend counties. His practice includes serving as the lead city attorney for several municipalities and other forms of government, as corporate counsel for many business entities, and as chief prosecutor for cities in or near the Bay Area of Houston. He has extensive experience in real estate law as he has represented numerous homeowner associations enforcing deed restrictions, performing foreclosures, and drafting documents for closings at title companies. Additionally, he has extensive experience in forming new business entities as well as drafting wills and trusts. His trial experience has been extensive in civil business litigation, collections, defending litigation against businesses, enforcing restrictive covenants, forcible detainers (evictions), and municipal prosecutions.
