GARDNER CONSTRUCTION ENTERPRISES - Key Persons
Randy Gardner started in the heavy construction industry in 1982 as a laborer for the Bridge Construction Corporation on the I-395 Main Street overpass in Bangor, Maine. Within 2 years he was awarded several promotions, ultimately becoming a general foreman with several crews working under his supervision throughout his 10 years of employment with Bridge Construction, building bridges and dams throughout New England.
In 1992, Gardner was offered a job as a construction superintendent with a local utility contractor in the Bangor area, where he continued his career in construction until 1999, when he took a position as Production Manager for Force Manufacturing, a manufacturer of equipment and utility trailers in Bangor.
Finally, in 2002, after deciding that working at a desk was not for him, Gardner went out on his own, primarily as a construction management firm, and has since grown his company into a firm that handles most aspects of the business in-house using GCE's own skilled workforce of 20 fulltime employees including his wife Laura, and daughter Nicole, along with 15 seasonal employees.
