We continue to carry out heavy earthmoving service work, which is still a major part of our business, with field service, and on occasion this leads us out of New Zealand and up into the Pacific Islands... Throughout the years we have developed our business strategies and moved from not only diesel engine and powershift transmission rebuilding, machinery and truck servicing repairs, to specializing in a growing need of hydraulic diagnosis, repair and testing... Founded in 1983 by Laurie Fischer and Graham Pope, Fischer Pope Diesel serviced and rebuilt diesel engines and transmissions.
