Don founded Flexpoint Ford in 2005 and has been our Managing Principal and Chief Executive Officer since inception. Don began his private equity career in 1994 at GTCR, a leading Chicago-based private equity firm, where he was a Principal, headed the healthcare investment effort and for part of his tenure, chaired the firm's Investment Committee. At GTCR, Don also invested in transaction processing and financial services companies. Prior to joining GTCR, Don was an investment banker at Lazard, Ltd. where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in financial institutions and other industries.
Don holds a B.S. degree in finance with highest honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar.
Drew is a Fund Accounting Manager at Flexpoint Ford. Prior to joining Flexpoint Ford in 2022, Drew was a Team Lead in the Hedge Fund Services group at Northern Trust, where he provided financial reporting and administrative services to alternative investment industry clients. Prior to Northern Trust, Drew was an Audit Associate at Bansley & Kiener, LLP.
Drew holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Accounting and a minor in Economics from the University of Missouri. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ed is a Vice President of Flexpoint focused on identifying, valuing, and executing investments in the Asset Opportunities investment strategy. Prior to joining Flexpoint in 2021, Ed was a Senior Associate at 777 Partners where he focused on executing investments in financial services companies. Prior to 777 Partners, Ed was an investment banking analyst at Jefferies.

Ethan is a Managing Director of Flexpoint Ford and the leader of the healthcare practice. Prior to the founding of Flexpoint in 2005, Ethan was a Principal of GTCR focusing on transactions in healthcare, including the formation of CuraScript and the investment in Ovation Holdings. Ethan's previous positions include: Principal of Leeds Group and its affiliated private equity fund, Advance Capital Partners; Associate with The Boston Consulting Group; and Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst with Lazard Frères and Co.
