The USB isolator can be used to isolate an USB device from the Host/PC. It has a 1KV isolation barrier and may NOT be used for personal safety. It is great for debugging/programming electronics and to safely work with USB devices with power supplies. Protecting both USB device and PC by removing the ground loops through power mains.
