AJ has over 15 years experience in both the Australian and Asian insurance market, allowing him to serve a broad spectrum of clients and projects within the construction industry including the infrastructure, power generation (traditional and renewable), and the building and residential sectors. Alistair is the Head of Construction for Howden Pacific. Born and raised in New Zealand, Alistair has lived in the UK, Canada and New Zealand prior to arriving in Australia. During that time, he worked in the insurance and risk management sector across each of those regions, plus the US. For the last twelve years, Alistair has specialized in construction as he worked as an underwriter with Zurich, an Account Executive for Aon and most recently, as PCL Construction's Corporate Risk Manager for over six years. This role had him oversee insurance placement (project and annual) and risk strategy for projects in the US, Canada and Australia.
Amanda brings over 14 years' experience in SME commercial, corporate, domestic and scheme broking. Particular areas of expertise include real estate and property professions, not-for-profit, aged care, fleet leasing, buying groups and professionals.
Amanda's industry knowledge and contributions have been recognised through her invitation to a number of platinum industry leadership programs. She is also the recipient of the Warren Tickle Memorial award, as the NSW / ACT Young Professional Broker of the Year.

Andre Louw is the Chair of Howden Australia. He has more than 30 years' insurance broking experience, specialising in financial and professional lines insurance.
Before Howden, Andre was Chairman of Marsh for the Pacific Region and for JLT for Australia and New Zealand. As an admitted Australian solicitor, he takes a particular interest in professional liability claims. He's negotiated several PI claims of more than $100m each.

Ann joined Howden in July 2023 having over 30 years insurance experience with the last 20 years in marine, primarily focusing on yachts. Ann works within the Marine & Logistics team focusing on insurance broking and claims management of Luxury yachts for high net worth clients with yachts based in Australia, South Pacific and Mediterranean.
Armand joined Howden on 1st August 2012 as Marketing Director. He is leading the strategic development of the business.
Prior to joining Howden, Armand had been the Marketing Director of JLT, Jakarta. Prior to joining JLT, Armand spent 5 years as a Site Engineer with Ballast Nedham in the Netherlands, 2 years as Risk Manager of Asia Pulp & Paper (Singapore) the largest integrated pulp & paper company in Asia.
With a strong engineering & risk focused background Armand managed the risk insurance procurement & management of PJB (Pembangkitan Jawa Bali) a subsidiary of PLN with 7 power plants in East Java & Sulawesi. Armand also managed an operational IPP called Energi Sengkang and in 2007 appointed as Medco's Energy Broker who have two operational power plants, "O&M" contract, 2 Petrochemical plants and oil and gas operation upstream as well as downstream.
Armand has a strong knowledge in energy, oil and gas sectors both upstream and downstream, control of well. Armand has more than 15 year's experience.
Armand obtained his bachelor degree in civil engineering from Haagse Hogeschool Sector Techniek, Civiele Techniek, Den Haag, The Netherlands. He holds professional qualification, Certified Professional Risk Management (CPRM) and Certified Indonesian Insurance & Reinsurance Broker (CIIB). Ashley as Head of Risk Consulting brings 25 years of asset valuation and risk consulting experience including a specialised understanding of resources, petrochemical, oil and gas, education, health and aged care sectors.
Prior to joining Howden Ashley has led teams delivering Risk Management, Valuation and Risk Engineering Services both locally and throughout Asia Pacific and the Middle East across government, private and not-for-profit sectors.

Carlie has over 25 years insurance experience with 20+ years at International Broking Houses. Carlie is known as a strong advocate for her clients and the industry more broadly. In relation to the later, Carlie has held a position on the National Insurance Brokers Australia (NIBA) NSW Divisional Committee for over 20 years, and the last 3 of those years as Chairperson.

David has over 35 years' experience within the marine sector, initially in the Lloyd's market and in Australia since 1997 and has been an Associate Director since May 2007. David has considerable experience in the region and a very strong portfolio comprising commercial vessel owners, mostly from tug, barge, offshore and marine construction operators.
David has worked in the insurance broking industry for over 25 years, gaining experience in both the Australian and London insurance markets. He has strong expertise across risk analysis, placement, servicing and claims management of large and complex corporate clients across multiple general insurance and professional lines classes.
David has managed a diverse range of clients including large ASX listed Corporate clients and a number of large Faith & Not For Profit clients including Australian Christian Churches / Independent Churches and Schools, Salvation Army, Baptist Union, and Vision Australia.

Denni joined Howden in December 2014 as Assistant Account Executive in Corporate Industry Risks Division after completed his study at STIKOM Interstudi. Dominic leads business and client engagement across the Risk Advisory team at Howden. Dominic has over 15 years' experience working alongside a number of organisations assisting in the development of their risk profile and providing advocacy on how to best improve risk management practices. This includes consulting advocacy around asset valuations, resilience services, risk management, risk engineering and alternate risk transfer. Prior to joining Howden, Dominic lead growth and business development for another international broking house. He has worked closely with the energy, healthcare, education and manufacturing sectors.
dr. Reza joined Howden in May 2015 as an Assistant Manager for EB Claims Wellbeing within Employee Benefits division. Prior to joining Howden, dr Reza worked for one of big insurance broker company, PT. Marsh Indonesia. Graduated from Veteran University, Jakarta in 2009 as general practitioners. He is registered of IDI (Ikatan Dokter Indonesia) and he has also participated in several accredited IDI trainings. dr. Reza also holds a certificate as "Hiperkes dan Keselamatan Kerja bagi Dokter Perusahaan/ Instansi" issued by Dinas Tenaga Kerja of Republic Indonesia. dr. Since 2010, Ega was part of Business Development team of previous company prior to the acquisition of Howden. Following the restructuring Ega finds her passion to lead corporate and industry team as Assistant Vice President. Part of her responsibility is also to re-initiate marine focus.
Ega had previously working for an insurance company, Asuransi Sinar Mas for 13 years, where she led to grow major risks. She has over 15 years' experience in the insurance industry,

Eko joined Howden in May 2014 Assistant Manager in Financial SME & Affinity Division. Having been promoted in January 2018 as Business Manager, he was given a new role to lead Small Medium Enterprise Risks(SME) . He is responsible for client servicing in Mid Enterprise Risks area and making sure to meet our client expectation.
Prior to joining Howden, Eko worked with PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) for 18 years at many various division and responsibility of major client.

James is a Partner in our Corporate Risks team with over 16 years of experience across both the Australian and London insurance markets. With a keen eye for detail, James provides his clients with a high level of customer service and technical support via risk identification, management and creative placement solutions. James has managed a diverse range of clients including large ASX listed corporates, Property Funds, Construction, Aged Care, Retail, Transport and Hospitality.
Kim has 30 years of insurance broking experience. Kurt joined Howden in November 2020 after spending 8 years at JLT. He has worked with many large and complex multinational clients providing strategic advice, programme design and service delivery. Kurt has 27 years of insurance industry experience, including 7 years in Johannesburg before moving to London in 1999. At both JLT (and Aon before that) he headed up the management liability team. Prior to his career in insurance, he studied law at the University of Cape Town, graduating with a BA LLB. After being admitted to practice as a solicitor in South Africa, he moved to work in-house with one of the then largest South African insurance intermediaries, Glenrand MIB.
Lianne has spent most of her career at Howden and has over 20 years' experience placing International bespoke risks into the London and global insurance markets. Although experienced across all classes of financial lines she brings particular expertise in delivering highly complex and tailored solutions within the Directors and Officers class. She works with multinational organisations and large government institutions navigating rapidly-evolving exposures across highly-regulated sectors. A particular specialism for those organisations with US exposure be that foreign issuers to US exchanges, IPO's or reverse merger / despac transactions.

Marion has over 25 years' experience in corporate and construction broking, in Australia, the UK and New Zealand. She is responsible for the Affinity Building Industry practice for Howden Australia, focused on the building industry and allied trades, servicing both residential and commercial construction companies.
Matt is the CEO of Howden Australia. Originating from the UK, Matt has spent his time in the insurance industry working in a variety of management, operational, business development and underwriting roles across both broking houses and underwriters in Australia and the UK. Prior to joining Howden, Matt was the CEO of Marsh's Mercer Marsh Benefits business in the Pacific and JLT's People Risk Consulting business.
Matt oversees the design, delivery and performance of affinity-style insurance schemes for member-based associations, buying groups and franchise networks. Before Howden, Matt worked in senior roles for global broking houses and claims management firms. Matt has 20 years' experience working with the not-for-profit, retail, motor trade, food & beverage industries. He's also designed insurance solutions for both federal and state government.

Matt is an actuary with more than 15 years of insurance and reinsurance experience across multiple geographies. Matt is focused on climate risk in the Pacific where he has worked with banks, insurers, superannuation funds and corporates to develop innovative solutions to understand, quantify and manage the current and emerging physical, transition and legal risks.
Megan has over 27 years' experience in the Australian and London insurance markets, working amongst most key industry sectors, ranging from commercial, professional services, government, manufacturing, technologies and community based associations. With experience across all major insurance products, this enables her to provide advice backed by a strong, global insurance market network.
Meini joined Howden in October 2012 as Assistant Account Executive in Corporate Industry Risks Division. Having been promoted in January 2019 as Business Manager, she was given a new role to lead Corporate Risks . She is responsible for client servicing in Corporate Risks area and making sure to meet our client expectation.

Michelle joined Howden in 1999 and has over 22 years' experience in Financial Lines, specialising in Directors' and Officers' Liability policies. She has extensive experience with both international and UK clients working on large and complex placement structures. Michelle's role includes responsibility for client service within the International division of FLG overseeing a team of 15+ Account Executives. She also works with FLG's Legal & Technical team on the drafting of Howden's flagship D&O products, provides technical resource both internally and to clients and contributes regularly to FLG's Thought Leadership output.
Nastassyah joined Howden in May 2023 as Assistant Manager, Marine Risk. She is responsible for broking and account handling with an emphasis on Marine Business. She started her career in 2016 - working as an operations associate at a multinational banking consulting company. In October 2019, she began her insurance career with Willis Re Indonesia as a Marine Treaty Broker for 3,5 years before being transferred to Gallagher's local partner IBS Reinsurance Brokers in May 2022. Following this, she completed her degree in International Relations at Pelita Harapan University and took her Pre-Master in International Communication at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in Netherlands. She also attained the CGI qualification.
Nick's extensive experience and expertise as a specialist Financial Lines insurance broker spans back to the commencement of his career in 1992. Since that time he has served a broad spectrum of clients in relation to their Professional Indemnity, Directors' and Officers' Liability and associated Financial Lines insurance needs. This includes many longstanding clients in the accounting, financial services, insurance, legal and property industries, amongst others. Nick also has deep experience in advising both listed and non-listed companies in relation to their D&O and broader Management Liability insurance needs.
Nick brings the benefit of his deep relationships with key insurers in both the Australian and London insurance markets to clients. As Head of Financial Lines, Nick has overall responsibility for the team in the Pacific region and in that capacity ensures that the best of Howden's extensive capabilities both locally and globally are delivered to clients.

Oscar joins us with 8 years of experience in the insurance and finance industry. Oscar has worked broadly across a range of industries during his insurance career, however has a specific interest & expertise in higher education, high-exposure manufacturing, and transport.
Richard has over 33 years insurance experience in both underwriting and broking roles in Australia and London. The majority of his career has been spent in insurance broking roles servicing large national and international clients and in the design, marketing and placement of insurance programs as well as claims service, contract reviews and advice across all insurance classes.
Richard's experience encompasses a wide range of clients from small to large corporate to large multinationals and ASX listed businesses. He has been involved in numerous client sectors including large infrastructure/utility accounts, construction, manufacturing, retail and transport industries.
His strength is listening to his clients to ensure he understands their business and their needs and to then provide advice on the best solutions to manage risk whilst also focusing on coverage, cost and administration requirements. Prior to joining Howden Richard spent 7 years at Honan and 21 years at Aon so has a long history of partnering with clients.
Ricko joined Howden in July 2023 as Manager - Cyber Risk. He is responsible for broking and account handling with emphasis on Cyber and Technology business.
He started his career in general insurance industry as Management Trainee at PT Asuransi Rama Satria Wibawa in year 2000. He has wide range of experience of more than 20 years in general insurance industry as broker, underwriter, agent and portfolio manager in couple of leading local and multinational general insurance and insurance broker companies in Indonesia like Chubb, AIG, Aon and MIR. For last 10 years he focused on financial lines business.

Rudi joined Howden in March 2013 as Assistant Vice President for Claims and Risks Management. He leads the restructuring of Non-EB claims. In addition to heads up our claim team, he is responsible also to implement Risk Management initiatives which is part of our value added proposition to client.
Prior to joining Howden, Rudi worked for one of major insurance company, Rama Insurance as Risks engineer and Claims manager for 7 years, managing various major and complex risks. Rusan joined Howden in December 2013 as Assistant Vice President in the General Non-EB Risks. Part of his responsibility is to include overall management and coordination of all general and non-employee benefit risks ranging from corporate, industry, marine, SME, affinity as well as financial risks. Prior to joining Howden, Rusan worked with Aon for 13 years, handling large corporate clients. Rusan has an extensive experience and knowledge to handle variety of large and complex risks ranging from industrial risks, palm mill risks to telecommunication risks. He has experiences as a professional broker for more than 15 years. Rusan graduated from Krisnadwipayana University, majoring in economic and he holds professional insurance qualifications, Ahli Pialang Asuransi dan Reasuransi Indonesia (APAI) and Certified Indonesian Insurance & Reinsurance Broker (CIIB).
With over 25 years' experience in placing Professional Indemnity, Directors' & Officers' and financial institution insurance programs both in Australia and London, Scott has the necessary expertise and relationships to deliver.
His clients include many Australian Law Firms. In addition to his broking experience, he spent 10 years in underwriting with international insurance companies.
Seth's expertise is in placement, servicing and claims management for financial services clients. His client list includes some of the largest financial institutions in Australia, UK and Europe, along with many boutique financial institutions and financial services companies. Prior to joining Howden, Seth worked at JLT/Marsh for over 14 years and Aon before that. Prior to moving to Australia in 2004, he was with Miller in London for 11 years.
Shehan is highly experienced in-house psychologist, specialising in creating safer systems of work with a proven track record implementing large scale enterprise risk frameworks. He is recognised by regulators and is collaborating with leading University Partners and not-for-profit think tanks.
Shehan is currently leading the rollout of mental health initiatives, training and implementation across Howden's client base for the private and community sectors, to inform and transform the psychological health and wellbeing of their workforces.

Stuart McKellar has more than 23 years insurance experience with nearly 18 years at international broking houses. During this time, Stuart has held various management and executive leadership positions for State based and National businesses. He has also been responsible for the provision of all aspects of broking services to ASX listed, private company, government owned corporation, association and multi-member, clients from a wide range of industries and sectors. Prior to joining Howden, Stuart was Deputy Leader for a major international broker in the Corporate, Commercial and Affinity business, and a member of their Pacific Executive Committee.
Subur joined Howden September 2012. Subur leads Financial Risks, Small Medium Enterprise and Affinity Risks division, as Assistant Vice President. Part of his responsibilty in SME, Affinity is to handle large chain-business risks like chain-shops, warehouses, restaurants as well as motor fleet risks. Subur is one of the key initiator to develop online based insurance facility which beneficial to our clients.
He is also responsible to develop specialty financial risks to adopt the group expertise and deploy to local business focus, such as Directors & Officers, Professional Indemnity, Trade Credit risks and the like.
Prior to joining Howden, Subur was working for JLT to focus on corporate and energy risk where handle major and complex risks clients. Previously also he worked for a Japanese insurance company, MSIG Insurance, focusing on small and medium enterprise. He has more than 7 years experience.

Tom is a Partner in in the People Risk business and brings to Howden 30 years experience in the personal injury sector. Violetha joined Howden on 15 August 2012 as Senior Vice President to lead the restructuring of our employee benefit business platform. She revamped the Health and Benefits divisions in order to provide better servicing quality for client.
Prior to joining Howden, Violetha is the Assistant Vice President at Marsh Indonesia handling employee benefit clients. Violetha was responsible for business development which includes participation in group employee benefits insurance brokering tenders, cross selling initiatives, call calling and creating insurance solutions tailor made to meet client requirements.
Previously, she worked for JLT for 13 years whereby for 7 years she was focusing on employee benefit sector. Violetha was the pioneer when JLT was starting up employee benefit division back in 2004. She was responsible for business development and client servicing. Among few clients that she achieved is to make the bank's becoming JLT clients was Bank Permata and Bank Danamon in 2010. She has over 20 years of experience in insurance broker industry.
Willy joined Howden as President Director on 1st August 2012 to lead the overall business.
Prior to joining Howden, Willy had been the Senior Vice President for Corporate Risks of Aon Indonesia. Prior to joining Aon, will was the Operations Directors of JLT, Jakarta and had been responsible for Indonesia operation. Willy had various role as insurance and reinsurance broker, both locally and overseas, with more 16 years of experience.
Yola joined Howden in January 2017 as Assistant Manager in Employee Benefits division. She is responsible for expanding and client servicing in Employee Benefits area and making sure to meet our client expectation.
Prior to joining Howden, Yola worked for one of big insurance broker company, PT Jardine Lloyd Thompson.
Yola also holds professional qualification Ahli Pialang Asuransi dan Reassurance Indonesia (APAI). Yola also qualified at Level 5 for professional Insurance Broker certification based on Indonesian regulation.
