With my website DragonFrugal.com, and even before that existed (as I was learning website programming from 1998 onward), I offered affordable personal and commercial web developing solutions including custom database and web application programming / consultation, premade open source and proprietary web applications, and free web resources for do-it-yourself... It started out around the end of 1997, after getting my first Windows PC that summer. I bought the PC specifically to start a career in web site editing. After a few months, I knew my way around a PC. I then started learning web site editing from tutorials on the internet…and never looked back. What I figured would at least be a good hobby has not only grown into business, but something I take pride in and enjoy doing. After a couple years of doing my own projects, I started doing freelance projects for clients... Rate: $30 hourly 9-5 weekdays / $40 hourly for off-time hours (emergencies only).
