Robert M. Downey

Registered Patent Attorney and Florida Bar Board Certified, Intellectual Property Law. Robert M. Downey is a patent attorney registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law, and his Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Mr. Downey is a member of the Florida Bar and the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States, American Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the International Trademark Association and has served as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Mr. Downey is experienced in all phases of patent and trademark practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and in the prosecution of foreign patent and trademark applications. Robert M. Downey began his career with Malloy & Malloy as a Registered Patent Attorney before founding his own practice in Boca Raton in 1993. As a result of that shared history, Robert M.
