CHAN Wai Lap

Joined the Group in 2000. He was appointed as an Executive Director and Chairman of the Group in 2006 and 2017 respectively. He strategises the direction of the Group and provides leadership to the Board. He manages and oversees the overall Group operations and is responsible in leading the management on various aspects including sales and marketing, product development, investment and financing activities, as well as corporate and business development. Mr. Chan holds a number of public and honorary positions, including Vice Chairman of The Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association, a member of the Vice Chairman (Manufacturing Division) of 11th Executive Committee of the Diamond Federation of Hong Kong China Ltd., Founding Chairman of the Youth Chapter of the Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council, Member of the Jewellery Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Executive Committee member of Federation of Hong Kong Industries. He is also a Director of Hong Kong United Youth Association. Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Chan had worked in both the banking and manufacturing industries for several years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with double majors in Entrepreneurial Studies and Finance from Babson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Chan is the son of Ms. Cheng Siu Yin, Shirley, an Executive Director of the Company.

CHENG Siu Yin

Co-Founder and Managing Director of the Group. Ms. Cheng is also an Executive Director and holds directorship in various subsidiaries. She is responsible for the daily operations, financial management, corporate development, sales and marketing as well as strategic planning. She has over 50 years of experience in the jewellery industry and has been actively involved in the business development of the Group since the beginning. Ms. Cheng is a Director and Treasurer of Zonta Club of Hong Kong (2022-2024), and is Vice Chairman, an Executive Committee member and the Honorary Vice President of the Hong Kong Federation of Women. She awarded as one of the top "100 Chinese Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs" in 2006 and was a committee member of the City of Jiangmen Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

Dr. Chan Sing Chuk - Founder

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Continental co-founder, Dr. Chan Sing Chuk, Charles BBS, JP who passed away in January 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. Dr. Chan was an iconic pioneer who, together with his wife and co-founder Ms. Shirley Cheng, inspired a modern approach to jewellery manufacturing. In 1975, Dr. Chan established the very first modern, standardized jewellery factory through the creation of Continental Jewellery (MFG) Ltd. With knowledge gained from the United States of America and alongside Ms. Cheng, he introduced ground-breaking techniques in jewellery production, including lost-wax casting and specially designed mass production assembly lines. The Continental model was a truly revolutionary concept at that time and changed the face of jewellery manufacturing. It was quickly recognized as a success and earned a reputation as one of the world's leading jewellery manufacturers and exporters. Although Dr. Chan is no longer with us, the examples that he set through his meticulous work ethic, self-discipline and considered wisdom continue to guide the Group's management on a day-to-day basis. Everyone at Continental will endeavour to embrace his spirit, mirroring his pursuit of excellence and passion for business. His vision and heart will forever be with us.

Ms. Shirley Cheng - Founder

SZE Irons

Mr. Sze was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 2nd October 2008. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in science from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, United States in 1985. Mr. Sze has extensive experience in investment and corporate management and is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Chevalier International Holdings Limited, ST International Holdings Company Limited, Best Mart 360 Holdings Limited, Jianzhong Construction Development Limited, Redco Healthy Living Company Limited and Forward Fashion (International) Holdings Company Limited, all of which are listed on the Stock Exchange. He is also an Executive Director of a private company, Hang Tung Resources Holding Limited, and holds directorship in various private companies. In addition, Mr. Sze is a Deputy Director of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference ("CPPCC") Subcommittee of Human Resources and Environment, an Executive Director of the Beijing Committee of the CPPCC and the Permanent Honorary President of the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong. He is also elected as a member of Election Committee of the Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Mr. Sze was appointed as Justice of the Peace and awarded with the Bronze Bauhinia Star by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 2011 and 2015 respectively. Mr. Sze has resigned as Non-executive Directors of China Weaving Materials Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 3778) and Bel Global Resources Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 761) (listing of which shares on the Stock Exchange has been cancelled with effect from 24 August 2018), with effect from 6 June 2019 and 21 August 2019 respectively.

WONG Edward Gwon-hing

Mr. Wong joined the Group in 1998 and was appointed as Executive Director on 1st March 2014. He is also the General Manager of Continental Jewellery (Mfg.) Limited. Mr. Wong has over 40 years' experience in manufacturing, sales & marketing and management in the jewellery industry. He is responsible for overall development and management of the Group's jewellery business.

YAM Tat Wing

Mr. Yam joined the Group in 2011 and was appointed as Executive Director of the Group on 1st March 2014. He was re-designated to Non-Executive Director and Independence Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 January 2017 and 8 February 2024, respectively. Mr. Yam obtained a certificate in Personnel Management from the Hong Kong Polytechnic (now known as The Hong Kong Polytechnic University). Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Yam served in the Hong Kong Police Force for over 37 years. He was previously the Deputy Commissioner of Operations from January 2007 to March 2010. Mr. Yam has extensive experience in leadership, public administration and crisis management. During his career in the Police Force, Mr. Yam was awarded with the Silver Bauhinia Star Medal, Colonial Police Long Service Medal with 3rd clasp, the Colonial Police Medal for Meritorious Service, the Hong Kong Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Chief Executives Commendation. In August 2011, he was appointed as an Affiliated Fellow of Wu Yee Sun College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong for a term of five years, and was extended for another five years in August 2016. Mr. Yam ceased being an Affiliated Fellow of the Wu Yee Sun College since August 2021. He was appointed as an Honorary Chairman of International Legal Commercial Elites Association in 2021.
