Cole Harrison Insurance is a full-service, locally owned independent insurance agency with locations in Kennebunk, Kittery, and Carrabasset Valley... In 1948, Charles E. Cole, the fourth generation of the Titcomb-Cole family, joined the firm, maintaining its family-owned and operated tradition. With the addition of John Frank Harrison, Jr., CPCU, CIC, in 1959, the agency's expertise and service offerings were enhanced. John Harrison's arrival marked the beginning of a partnership that would lead to the 1970 rebranding of the agency as Cole-Harrison, a name reflecting both the Cole and Harrison legacies... In 1971, William T. Avison, a field representative of Abington Mutual, joined the team, further strengthening the agency's professional capabilities. That same year, Cole-Harrison expanded its reach by opening a branch office in Carrabassett Valley, allowing them to better serve clients in that region.
