The Association originally known as Cement Manufacturers Association of Singapore was formed in 1980 by cement grinding companies. Due to the change of operation from grinding cement clinker to import of cement through bulk cement terminals the name of the association was changed to Cement and Concrete Association of Singapore... To further the overall interest of the members and to establish links with cement and concrete related organizations nationally and internationally and to foster information exchange and closer cooperation with such organizations.
