Mr Chan Wai Mun from CNPLaw LLP, formerly known as Colin Ng & Partners, was appointed as general counsel to advise and act for the land concession owner and main developer of a Specific Economic Zone in Laos. This is a 54-hectare large scale land and property development project for mixed commercial and residential uses including an integrated resort with casino, hotels, entertainment complex, retail malls, office and commercial towers, condominiums and shophouses; all of which cater to a wide international profile of investors, co-developers and financiers. We will be acting in the development, construction, and financing of the whole project including structuring all related joint ventures and working collaborations with overseas investors and partners.
Wai Mun heads the firm's real estate practice and believes in strategic big-picture thinking when providing specific legal insight to any issue or advice required.
Since his early years in practice, he has adopted a broad-based approach in developing his technical skills and legal experience in servicing the best interests of his clients.
Joel graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2013 and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2015. Joel joined CNPLaw in 2017 and is in the firm's Dispute Resolution team. He has experience in a diverse range of litigation and estate planning work including the drafting of wills and probate work. Joel also previously served as a volunteer on the Law Society's Probate Practice and Succession Planning Committee.

Bill is an English lawyer who is also registered to practise Singapore law in the areas of corporate law, banking and finance and securities laws. His experience includes 10 years in the City of London and over 30 years in Asia, based in Singapore. Before joining CNP, Bill was a partner in a well-known international law firm. He has worked for clients from all over the world on M&A, capital markets, investment fund, private equity, project finance, leveraged buy-out and restructuring transactions. His focus is on assisting clients access Asian markets and investment flows through Singapore. He also advises on financial services regulatory and employment issues.
