Abby Price is a licensed clinical social worker devoted to each child, adolescent, and family that she works with. Abby received her B.S. in psychology from Fordham University in Bronx, NY. From there, she went on to receive her MSW from Hunter College's Silberman School of Social Work in New York City. During her time as a graduate student, Abby was able to practice and strengthen key social work principles such as social justice, unconditional positive regard, and caring for the whole person both in and out of the classroom. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic impacting in-person learning opportunities, Abby was still able to offer support, guidance, and therapeutic connection during her internships first with retired nuns of Tarrytown, NY and then with children and families throughout all of Westchester County.
Following the completion of her degree and initial licensure as an LMSW, Abby went on to work at the Yale Child Study Center where she became trained in various interventions and worked with children from ages 3-19 and their caregivers and eventually went on to receive her LCSW. There, she also became well-versed in navigating school and child welfare systems and developing positive working relationships with each family's network of support. During this time, Abby worked with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, adjustment disorders, and trauma. She also has experience administering testing such as the ADOS-2, Mullen, and Bailey for diagnostic clarity of autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders.
She comes to the Children's Health Council able to provide CBT, ERP, Child Parent Psychotherapy, and many others. With this diverse skill set comes her strengths-based and individualized approach while and dedication to establishing a strong and warm therapeutic relationship. In her free time, Abby enjoys running, taking her two dogs for hikes and walks, and reading. She recently learned how to crochet and loves any excuse to make a new stuffed animal!

Abby Tobin brings joy, laughter and comfort into her classroom as she aids her students in breaking down the barriers in the way of their learning. She is entering her fourth year as a special education teacher and her favorite part about teaching is supporting students in building their identity as a reader and a learner. Ms. Tobin is passionate about building strong empathetic relationships with her students and understanding them as a whole child. She is experienced in designing multi-sensory lessons that incorporate multiple ways to engage. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Tobin loves spending time enjoying the wilderness and playing with her dog.

Adam M. Ferris is excited to join the CHC team and contribute to its mission. With a background in science, he holds a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from CSU Chico. Prior to transitioning into education, Adam gained extensive experience in the biotechnology field and later worked as a paraprofessional with Ro Health in the Bay Area.
Passionate about learning and sharing knowledge, Adam is dedicated to bridging a love for science with teaching and educational development. Joining CHC is an exciting step in this ongoing journey of growth and impact.
Outside of professional pursuits, he enjoys fishing, foraging for wild food, building various projects, and cooking. A new challenge on the horizon is learning to free-dive spearfish in the coming year. Adam looks forward to collaborating with colleagues and engaging with the student body at CHC.

Alexandra was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her enthusiasm for working with children led her to San Jose to pursue an Early Childhood Education degree. She has credentials as a Registered Behavior Technician, certified in MNRI® Tactile Integration and Neuro-Structural Reflex Integrations. As a Behavior Specialist for over 11 years, her expertise helps students overcome academic and behavioral barriers using proven strategies to build students confidence, create individual learning plans and collaborate with teachers and staff to encourage students to reach their fullest potential. Alexandra has a diverse working portfolio that includes private schools, inner city charter schools and Non public campuses. She loves the outdoors and spends her free time traveling, hiking and working out. Alexandra is very excited to be part of CHC.

Alexandra Rousseau is a multilingual, multicultural third-year practicum student pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University. Her clinical and research interests focus on Neuropsychology and Pediatric Behavioral Health. Alexandra's diverse upbringing laid the foundations for her eagerness to serve and help enrich multilingual, multicultural, and underserved communities. Alicia Alvarez graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Psychology. She explored her passion for mental health in college researching resilience in Latinx youth and creating the Banana Slugs for Mental Health Podcast. She is hoping to pursue a career as a social worker with the goal of making mental health resources more accessible to Latinx populations.
She recently made the move to Palo Alto with her partner from LA and is excited to explore the area and be part of EBC. In her free time, you will most likely find her attending concerts, trying matcha lattes, or thrifting at flea markets.

Amy DiLaura has many years of marketing experience across the tech, publishing, retail and non-profit sectors. She appreciates the power of marketing to help deliver resources to the people who need them most and finds particular meaning in supporting services that benefit children and families.
Amy was born and raised outside of Boston, but has called the Bay Area home for more than two decades. When not shuttling her three children to various sporting events, she enjoys running, swimming, cooking and visiting the ocean as frequently as she can.

Dr. Tsai is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California. She has extensive experience working with children and families. Dr. Tsai graduated from Cornell University and received her PhD from the University of Michigan. She has worked at the EBC School since the beginning of 2010. Her primary areas of specialization include enhancing parent-child relationships and treatment of children who struggle with anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She believes in working collaboratively with her clients and tailors her therapy to each individual family. She utilizes a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral, and family systems modalities. She feels honored to be a therapist and looks forward to connect with and support families in need.
Andrea has been an elementary school classroom assistant in the Palo Alto Unified School District for many years, focusing on literacy. Her calm and nurturing presence helps to establish rapport with students as another trusted adult in their lives. Andrea is honored to become part of the amazing team at EBC. She looks forward to learning from and guiding students as they navigate through their programs.
In her free time, Andrea takes great pleasure in extolling the virtues of modern art, architecture, design and interiors. Although she has lived in the Bay Area for some time, she is always open to suggestions about yet undiscovered adventures!

In June of 2023, Angel earned her MA in Educational Leadership: SEL, Character, and Ethics, conducting qualitative research on raising mental health awareness in schools and effective classroom strategies to improve students' overall well-being. She has taught preschool, elementary, and middle school students and worked alongside their families in various capacities, including tutor, inclusion paraeducator, 3rd grade teacher, K-5 assistant director, program coordinator for behavioral health programs, and more.
She is dedicated to creating safe and positively challenging learning environments that foster curiosity, present global perspectives, and motivate lifelong learning. Angel also strives to deliver thought-provoking and meaningful lessons that guide students toward discovering connections between their education and the real world. Her progressive teaching methods strongly emphasize social-emotional learning and cultural responsiveness, values diversity, and celebrates differences. She is excited to be part of Sand Hill School and looks forward to cultivating strong relationships with students and families and teaching middle school Humanities!
It is with great enthusiasm that Angela Longarini introduces herself as Sand Hill School's fourth grade teacher. This will be Angela's first year at Sand Hill School. It has been an aspiration of hers to educate young children. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Childhood and Adolescent Studies at San Jose State University and her credential from CalStateTEACH. Prior to teaching at Sand Hill she taught fifth grade at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Anissa believes all students deserve to feel a sense of belonging within the school setting. As Whitney Houston once said, "I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way." Anissa is a proud queer, latina, woman who embraces her intersecting identities. As someone who was diagnosed with anxiety in sixth grade she understands the importance of providing mental health and other wellness resources to those with mental health challenges. Cynthia is a first generation Latinx in the mental health field. She sees in the Latinx culture that there are difficulties with depression, anxiety and asking for emotional support when needed. Cynthia graduated at Palo Alto University with a Masters degree in Counseling and with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. With experience working as a school-based counselor especially through the pandemic, Cynthia grew understanding in how to support children and adolescents and how to help parents and families improve in positive relationships.

Dr. Hsu attended the University of Washington for her undergraduate degree in Psychology. After working for a year as a residential treatment counselor and in a genetics lab, she attended the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology at Palo Alto University to obtain her PhD in Clinical Psychology with emphases in Child & Family and Health Psychology. Dr. Hsu's passion for working with children and families with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities started during a practicum at Children's Hospital Oakland at the Children's Hospital Autism Intervention (CHAI). She completed her postdoctoral residency at the Kaiser Permanente Autism Spectrum Disorder Center in San Jose. She worked there for four years in diagnoses, research, supervision, and training. Dr. Hsu currently continues to work part-time at the Kaiser Permanente Division of Research with the Autism Research Project (ARP) as the clinical lead for several research studies.

Rachel is thrilled to join CHC. She brings over 20 years of non profit leadership experience with her including positions at the East Bay SPCA and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Her most recent role was with Discover Hope Behavioral Solutions, an ABA company dedicated to helping children diagnosed with ASD. Rachel has undergraduate degrees in Math and Economics and an MBA with a concentration in non profit management from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. In her spare time, she is very involved in Bay Area theater and usually sees one to three musicals a week! She lives in the East Bay with her three teens, husband and endless parade of foster animals.

Dr. Khasho is a court-appointed expert for the State of California and has provided testimony about the psychological evaluations of children and adolescents. He has over 20 years of non-profit executive leadership experience and is actively involved in the supervision and training of graduate students. Dr. Khasho explains, "Our specialists work together to bring all their knowledge and points of view to the table to discover what's really going on with each child. Our highly-trained expert staff includes licensed psychologists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, educational specialists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists-all right here and ready to help."

Dr. Eisenberg brings over 20 years' experience in direct work, advocacy and leadership for children and families with complex learning and mental health needs. A teacher, administrator, community advocate and organizational leader, Ryan has dedicated himself to improving outcomes for all children within our communities.
Prior to joining CHC, Ryan served as the Executive Director of AchieveKids in Palo Alto and San Jose, a nonprofit that operates nonpublic schools for students in special education, for six years. During his career, Ryan has developed innovative school programming in Hawaii, Massachusetts, and California, for students with complex learning and mental health needs. His passion has been creating more inclusive community settings, building programs of acceptance and learning, and on improving the overall outcomes for children who were previously not finding success in their communities or schools. Ryan has been an active voice and advocate in public policy issues related to education and child welfare. A strong advocate for youth with mental health needs, children in the foster system, and students with learning differences, Ryan seeks opportunities to give those groups voice and representation. Ryan has served on state-level work groups and as a special education expert for districts exploring equity issues.
Ryan lives in the Bay area with his wife Sindy and their two children, Benjamin and Bella. As a family they enjoy traveling and exploring new places. Ryan is a lifelong hockey player and enjoys cooking and reading.

Dr. Murtaza is a Staff Psychologist who is passionate about working with diverse children, adolescents and families through a framework of evidence-based practice and cultural humility. She entered the field of psychology with a desire to reduce mental health disparities and promote resilience in every client and family with whom she works. Throughout her graduate training, Dr. Murtaza has helped people with a range of presenting problems, including anxiety, depression, self-harm/suicidality, ADHD, behavioral challenges, trauma and adjustment difficulties. In her spare time, Dr. Murtaza enjoys hiking, traveling, learning to cook new recipes, and spending quality time with her family, friends and cat.
