Dr. Amanda Doherty is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has subspecialty experience in Surgical Pathology and Liver and Gastrointestinal Pathology.
Dr. Doherty is an experienced pathologist who has held a number of leadership roles including Chair of the Regional GI/Liver Pathology Service for The Permanente Medical Group and serving as clinical laboratory medical director. She has also served on a number of hospital committees including the executive committee, along with others focused on laboratory utilization, operations and physician leadership development.
She attended medical school at Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Doherty completed residency training in Anatomic Pathology and Laboratory Medicine from San Francisco General Hospital where she was Chief Resident and where she also completed fellowships in Surgical Pathology, and Liver and GI Pathology.
Dr. Doherty co-authored the chapters "Autoimmune Hepatitis and Overlap Syndromes" and "Acute and Chronic Viral Hepatitis" in Practical Interpretation of Liver Biopsy, Volume 1. She has also participated in a number of original research projects on colorectal cancer that has been published in journals such as Gut and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Barry Kahn is President of CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories and is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology. He holds subspecialty expertise in Breast Pathology, Cytopathology, and Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA). Dr. Kahn attended medical school at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and fellowship training in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology from University Hospitals of Cleveland at Case Western Reserve University. He also served as Chief Resident in Clinical Pathology at the same institution.
Dr. Kahn is an active member of the local, regional, and national pathology communities. He currently serves as the Anatomic Pathology Medical Director at our Everett Division and helps to coordinate the weekly Interdisciplinary Breast Cancer Conference at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett. Dr. Kahn is a Washington State Delegate to the College of American Pathologists House of Delegates and Past President of Medical Staff at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. He serves on both Boards of Directors for CellNetix Pathology, PLLC and LLC and previously served as CellNetix's Secretary/Treasurer.
Dr. Folz is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and attended medical school at the University of Michigan Medical School.
He is fellowship-trained in Surgical Pathology from the University of Michigan, including Gastrointestinal Pathology subspecialty training with Drs. Henry Appelman and Joel Greenson.
While at Puget Sound Institute of Pathology, he served as Medical Executive Committee Member, Oncology Leadership Council Member, and Oncology Quality Committee Member among others, for Franciscan Health System.

Byron Kaerstner serves as CellNetix's Chief Administrative Officer, where he oversees several departments, such as accessioning, courier/transportation services, marketing/sales and account management, revenue cycle, support services and supply chain. Byron is also chair of CellNetix's Compliance Committee and leads vendor and provider negotiations, including strategy development and contract execution.
Byron joined CellNetix in 2017, bringing more than 20 years of hospital system experience. He served in several senior leadership roles at CHI Franciscan Highline Medical Center, including hospital administration, revenue cycle, supply chain, and compliance. Byron spent more than half his career in revenue cycle, building cross departmental teams that focused on collaboration, process improvement and fiscal responsibility.
Byron earned his Bachelors in Business and MBA from Pacific Lutheran University.
Dr. Jordan attended medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University, School of Medicine in Portland, Oregon, where she graduated Cum Laude. She completed an Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts and was a surgical pathology Resident at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Dr. Jordan holds Board certifications in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. Dr. Jordan has held faculty positions at Harvard, Dartmouth and University of Washington medical schools, in addition to SUNY HSC. She has been the Director of Cytopathology at three hospitals in the Pacific Northwest and is currently the Reviewer for the publication Archives of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Jordan joined CellNetix in 2010 and and serves on the Quality Assurance Committee.
Dr. Casey Morrison is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has subspecialty experience in Cytopathology and Genitourinary Pathology.
Dr. Morrison completed his medical degree at the University of Virginia. He also completed residency training in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology, a Healthcare Leadership in Quality graduate medical education certificate program, as well as fellowship training in Cytopathology, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a second fellowship in Genitourinary Pathology at Stanford.
He is also a dedicated educator and has presented on numerous topics while at the University of Pennsylvania, including interesting case conferences, clinical effectiveness and quality improvement projects and the inaugural Quality Grand Rounds, as well as leadership and educational conference for the trainees and department at large. He has presented work at the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, Society of Pediatric Pathology, American Society of Human Genetics, and the College of American Pathologists. He has also coauthored articles that have been featured in The American Journal of Dermatopathology, European Urolog y, and the International Journal of Surgical Pathology.

Dr. Charles Hunter is board certified in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, Dermatopathology, Internal Medicine, and Medical Microbiology.
He obtained his medical degree from the University of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor. Dr. Hunter is fellowship trained in Dermatopathology from the Thomas Jefferson University, Institute of Dermatopathology in Philadelphia and in Anatomic Pathology and Microbiology from the University of Virginia Health Science Center in Charlottesville. Additionally, he completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from both the University of Virginia Health Science Center and the University of Michigan Medical Center, as well as one in Internal Medicine from the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, University of Michigan Medical Center Affiliate.
Dr. Hunter's past experience as an emergency room physician speaks to his ability to offer expert consultations on a wide variety of pathologic subspecialties. He is the Clinical Laboratory Medical Director for Minor & James Medical Center in Seattle, WA.
Dr. Daniel Brown is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology.
Prior to CellNetix, Dr. Brown held a number of leadership roles, including serving as Chair of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine; Chief of the Section of Neuropathology; Director of the Quality Committee; Vice Chair of Network Affairs; and member of the Lehigh Valley Physician Group Board of Governors for the Lehigh Valley Health Network, comprising nine hospital campuses, numerous health centers, physician practices, rehabilitation locations, ExpressCARE sites and other outpatient care locations in seven eastern Pennsylvania counties. Additionally, Dr. Brown has served as a member of the Board of Directors; Laboratory Medical Director; and Director of the Immunohistochemistry Laboratory for HNL Lab Medicine.
Dr. Brown earned his master's degree in Business Administration from Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, receiving honors, including induction into the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He attended medical school at the State University of New York Upstate College of Medicine in Syracuse, NY, and completed residency training in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
He is also a dedicated educator, having lectured at Temple School of Medicine and served as a consultant for Temple University Hospital and Main Line Health. He has co-authored numerous articles in publications such as the Archives of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, Journal of Neuroscience, Modern Pathology, The New England Journal of Medicine, and The Journal of Neuropathology & Experimental Neurology.

David J. Corwin, M.D. is the former President of CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories as well as Chief of Pathology and Director of Laboratories at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. He is consistently named by his peers as one of Seattle's top pathologists, appearing year after year in the "Best Doctors" issues of regional publications such as Seattle Magazine and Seattle Metropolitan.
Dr. Corwin is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of Washington School of Medicine and is a member of the Consultant Panel at The Center for Health Dispute Resolution. He has served on the Immunology Device Advisory Board of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and as chairman of the Cell Markers Committee of the College of American Pathology (CAP).
Dr. Corwin attended medical school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He also completed residencies in Anatomic Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Corwin holds additional subspecialty expertise in Clinical Chemistry (tumor markers, endocrine testing, serologic testing, and prenatal testing), Flow Cytometry, Hematopathology, and Laboratory Administration.
Dr. Debra Callahan is board certified in Clinical Pathology and Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking.
Dr. Callahan completed her medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and The Ohio State University Medical Center. She completed a Fellowship in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Dr. Callahan has experience in private practice and academic centers. She has served as Medical Director at regional hospitals and blood centers including PeaceHealth, EvergreenHealth Medical Center, Medical University of South Carolina, and Vanderbilt Medical Center as well as appointments with the American Red Cross and BloodSource.
Dr. Callahan is also a dedicated educator, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Pathology at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. Before completing her medical training, she also served as an Assistant Professor at the Undergraduate level at Wilberforce University and Clark State Community College. She has been a Continuing Medical Education and Continuing Education lecturer for Kaiser Permanente, the American Red Cross, PeaceHealth, and others.

Dr. Dominique Coco is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has subspecialty expertise in Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology. He is fellowship trained in Surgical Pathology (emphasis on Genitourinary, Breast, and Soft Tissue Pathology) and in Gastrointestinal Pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
While at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dr. Coco served as staff Gastrointestinal Pathologist. He completed a two-year internship in Surgery and a full residency in Pathology at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He completed his Medical Degree at the Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Don Tran is board certified in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Dermatopathology. At the University of Washington, he completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology. At the same institute, Dr. Tran was Chief Resident of Surgical Pathology and completed residencies in Anatomic Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. He holds additional subspecialty expertise in Dermatopathology and Anatomic Pathology.
Dr. Tran graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles. He attended medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University in New York. Dr. Tran has been with CellNetix since 2008 and currently serves on the Quality Assurance Committee.
Dr. Adam Saenz is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and attended medical school at Boston University School of Medicine. He completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and is fellowship trained in surgical pathology from Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
While at Puget Sound Institute of Pathology, Dr. Saenz served as Staff Pathologist and Medical Director of St. Clare Hospital.
Dr. Angie Pham is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical pathology, and Hematopathology, and attended medical school at University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
While at Puget Sound Institute of Pathology, she served as Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Pham is fellowship-trained in hematopathology from the City of Hope Medical Center in Duarte, CA.
Dr. Don Tran is board certified in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Dermatopathology. At the University of Washington, he completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology. At the same institute, Dr. Tran was Chief Resident of Surgical Pathology and completed residencies in Anatomic Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. He holds additional subspecialty expertise in Dermatopathology and Anatomic Pathology.
Dr. Tran graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Julianne Mendes is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has subspecialty experience in Cytopathology and Surgical Pathology.
She attended medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, WA and completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, MI. She also completed a Cytopathology fellowship from Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH.
Dr. Mendes has presented at a number of tumor boards and conferences at Cleveland Clinic, Ascension St. John Hospital and Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Eric Nguyen is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has subspecialty experience in Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Pathology.
After earning his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, he completed his medical degree at the University of Colorado, where he received numerous honors, including the Sara D. Winter, MD Award, recognizing him for his academic achievement with outstanding commitment to medicine, fellow students and society, as well as the Medical Scientist Training Program's Excellence in Service Award. Dr. Nguyen completed both residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and fellowship training in Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Pathology at the University of California San Francisco.
Dr. Nguyen worked as a research assistant following his undergraduate education at the University of Washington, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, as well as Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Philosophy.
Dr. Nguyen has presented at various conferences, including the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. He has co-authored articles in publications such as Histopathology, Nature, eLife, The Journal of Applied Laboratory Medicine, and JAMA Neurology.
Dr. Weppler is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and cytopathology.
He attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences, and completed residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Madigan Army Medical Center. He also completed a cytopathology Fellowship while he was at the Brooke Army Medical Center / Wilford Hall Air Force Medical Center in San Antonio, TX.
Dr. Cady obtained three Fellowship awards in the subspecialty areas of Hematopatholgy from the Mayo Clinic, Surgical Pathology from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and Oconee Medical Center, and Placental and Perinatal Pathology from the Medical University of South Carolina. He also completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Dr. Cady was a visiting pathologist in the department of Oncologic Surgical Pathology at Centro Consulenze Anatomia Patologica, Centro Diagnostico Italiano in Milan, Italy, and in Lymph Node Pathology at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Cady joined CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories in 2007 and currently serves on the Quality Assurance Committee. His interests include the spectrum of hematolymphoid neoplasia, complex placental and perinatal pathology, and the spectrum of surgical pathology.

Dr. Alcorn attended medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago.
He completed a residency in combined anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Washington in Seattle and a Fellowship in Surgical Pathology at Swedish Hospital also in Seattle. He is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology.
Dr. Henry Nguyen is board certified in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Cytopathology.
He attended medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine in College Station, TX. Dr. Nguyen completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA, where he served as Chief Resident. He also completed a Cytopathology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and a General Surgical Pathology fellowship at the University of California San Diego.
Dr. Nguyen has presented at various events and conferences, including the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and American Society of Clinical Pathology, and has co-authored several publications in journals such as Cancer Cytopathology, Human Pathology, and Experimental and Molecular Pathology.
Dr. Jane Yin is a skilled pathologist with extensive hospital and laboratory experience. She is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, and cytopathology.
Dr. Yin attended medical school at Shanghai Medical University in Shanghai, China, and has a Ph.D. in Clinical Pathology from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. She completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI, and a fellowship in cytopathology from the University of Washington.
Dr. Jessica Rogers is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has subspecialty experience in Gastrointestinal Pathology, Hepatic Pathology, and Surgical Pathology.
She attended medical school at Albany Medical College and completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, as well as two years of training in General Surgery, from UC Davis Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident and was a member of both the Graduate Medical Education Committee and the Resident Medical Staff Committee. She completed fellowship training in Gastrointestinal and Hepatic Pathology and Surgical Pathology from UW Medical Center where she served as Co-Chief Resident.
Dr. Rogers received honors throughout her medical training and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in 2010. She has presented at various presentations and conferences, including the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, American Society of Clinical Pathology, and the College of America Pathologists, covering various gastrointestinal topics.
Dr. Chen attended Mayo Medical School and is Board certified in Anatomic pathology and Hematopathology. At Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA, he completed a residency and Hematopathology fellowship which included two years in Anatomic pathology, one year in Hematopathology as well as six months each in Cardiovascular, Pulmonary and Renal pathology. He then went on to complete a Gastrointestinal fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.
Before joining CellNetix, Dr. Chen was an Assistant professor at Indiana University School of Medicine in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Jodi Inman serves as the Account Manager for Idaho, Oregon, and the Central and Eastern regions of Washington. She is a seasoned marketing and sales leader with more than 30 years of industry experience, having held roles in hospitals, and long-term acute care and healthcare technology companies. Jodi is passionate about improving management approaches and processes and experienced in data analysis for quality and utilization.
Jodi is committed to supporting clients through excellent communication and education. In her free time, she is a certified pilot and enjoys flying, gardening and spending time with her husband, mom, two sisters and four springer spaniel dogs.

Jolene Albin serves as the Account Manager for the North region of Washington. Prior to her role, she spent more than 12 years working in laboratories where she honed her technical expertise, including accessioning surgical pathology and toxicology samples; assisting in bone marrow and fine needle aspirate procedures; triaging time sensitive samples for intraoperative analysis; providing accurate description and dissection of simple to moderately complex surgical specimens; and processing high revenue accounts requiring special care and attention to detail.
Jolene has also been involved in leadership roles where she directed laboratory workflow, supervised quality control, streamlined processes to increase efficiency and eliminate wasted product and time, and trained and mentored new employees. Jolene has been honored for her hard work and dedication to patient safety; she is a recipient of the annual Good Catch Award from the CellNetix Patient Safety Committee and a 2022 Washington Patient Safety Coalition Speak-Up Award Finalist.
In her free time, she enjoys baking; traveling; and spending time with her husband, Wyatt; two sons, Ezekiel and Malachi; and French Bulldog, Loki.
Jon A. Reed, M.D. joined CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories in 2009 from Baylor College of Medicine, where he was Director of Dermatopathology and a tenured Professor of Pathology and of Dermatology.
Dr. Reed has an international reputation as an invited lecturer, presenter and researcher. He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards (including "Best Doctors in America" since 2001) and is a member of the editorial boards for several professional journals. He has produced over 100 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters as well as over 120 original abstracts.
Dr. Reed attended medical school at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Dermatopathology. He received fellowship training in Dermatopathology at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and in Molecular Surgical Pathology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Previous to CellNetix, she spent more than 15 years in pharmaceutical sales and public relations. Dr. Kenneth Meckler is interim Chief Executive Officer of CellNetix and also serves as Chairman of the CellNetix LLC Board of Directors. He has been a practicing pathologist with nearly 25 years. Prior to CellNetix, he served as Partner and President of Puget Sound Institute of Pathology (PSIP), which merged with CellNetix in 2017. He holds dual board certifications in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, and is also fellowship trained in Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology. He also has extensive experience in Medical Directorship in small hospital and large/regional hospital settings.

Mark has more than 35 years of financial experience and has held senior leadership roles in clinical and anatomic laboratories, as well as wireless communications, retail, and legal industries. He is skilled at leading cross-functional teams in the implementation of corporate initiatives to streamline operations, scale for growth and improve profitability.

Sarah Hebdon serves as the Account Manager for the South Puget Sound region. Prior to her role, she served as the Assistant Site Supervisor for our PS Division, helping to oversee the operations and workflow of our full-service laboratory in Tacoma, WA. She also spent more than 10 years as a Lead Pathology Technician where she fine-tuned her technical skills, including bone marrow collection and cutting frozen sections, and working closely with pathologists to provide excellent patient care. Her comprehensive knowledge and technical expertise directly contribute to her excellent service with a client and patient-focused approach. In her free time, Sarah enjoys plants/gardening; reading; cooking; and spending time with her husband, Erik; their two girls, Hailey and Amelia; and their beagle, Baxter.

Susan Morgan serves as CellNetix's VP of Physician Services where she oversees quality and risk management, daily operations and workflow, and facilitates strategic endeavors for the pathology practice.
Prior to CellNetix, Susan worked at Puget Sound Institute of Pathology, where she served as their Chief Operating Officer. She has more than 20 years of experience in pathology, including having worked for over a decade as a Pathologists' Assistant.
Susan is passionate about patient care and is a member of the Washington Patient Safety Coalition (WPSC) Advisory Group, which provides leadership, strategic planning and direction for the WPSC. Susan is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
