Amanda Doherty

Dr. Amanda Doherty is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has subspecialty experience in Surgical Pathology and Liver and Gastrointestinal Pathology. Dr. Doherty is an experienced pathologist who has held a number of leadership roles including Chair of the Regional GI/Liver Pathology Service for The Permanente Medical Group and serving as clinical laboratory medical director. She has also served on a number of hospital committees including the executive committee, along with others focused on laboratory utilization, operations and physician leadership development. She attended medical school at Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Doherty completed residency training in Anatomic Pathology and Laboratory Medicine from San Francisco General Hospital where she was Chief Resident and where she also completed fellowships in Surgical Pathology, and Liver and GI Pathology. Dr. Doherty co-authored the chapters "Autoimmune Hepatitis and Overlap Syndromes" and "Acute and Chronic Viral Hepatitis" in Practical Interpretation of Liver Biopsy, Volume 1. She has also participated in a number of original research projects on colorectal cancer that has been published in journals such as Gut and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Barry Kahn is President of CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories and is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology. He holds subspecialty expertise in Breast Pathology, Cytopathology, and Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA). Dr. Kahn attended medical school at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and fellowship training in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology from University Hospitals of Cleveland at Case Western Reserve University. He also served as Chief Resident in Clinical Pathology at the same institution. Dr. Kahn is an active member of the local, regional, and national pathology communities. He currently serves as the Anatomic Pathology Medical Director at our Everett Division and helps to coordinate the weekly Interdisciplinary Breast Cancer Conference at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett. Dr. Kahn is a Washington State Delegate to the College of American Pathologists House of Delegates and Past President of Medical Staff at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. He serves on both Boards of Directors for CellNetix Pathology, PLLC and LLC and previously served as CellNetix's Secretary/Treasurer.

Brian Folz

Byron Kaerstner

Byron Kaerstner serves as CellNetix's Chief Administrative Officer, where he oversees several departments, such as accessioning, courier/transportation services, marketing/sales and account management, revenue cycle, support services and supply chain. Byron is also chair of CellNetix's Compliance Committee and leads vendor and provider negotiations, including strategy development and contract execution. Byron joined CellNetix in 2017, bringing more than 20 years of hospital system experience. He served in several senior leadership roles at CHI Franciscan Highline Medical Center, including hospital administration, revenue cycle, supply chain, and compliance. Byron spent more than half his career in revenue cycle, building cross departmental teams that focused on collaboration, process improvement and fiscal responsibility. Byron earned his Bachelors in Business and MBA from Pacific Lutheran University.

Dr. Jordan attended medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University, School of Medicine in Portland, Oregon, where she graduated Cum Laude. She completed an Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts and was a surgical pathology Resident at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Dr. Jordan holds Board certifications in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. Dr. Jordan has held faculty positions at Harvard, Dartmouth and University of Washington medical schools, in addition to SUNY HSC. She has been the Director of Cytopathology at three hospitals in the Pacific Northwest and is currently the Reviewer for the publication Archives of Otolaryngology. Dr. Jordan joined CellNetix in 2010 and and serves on the Quality Assurance Committee.

Casey E. Morrison

Dr. Morrison completed his medical degree at the University of Virginia. He also completed residency training in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology, a Healthcare Leadership in Quality graduate medical education certificate program, as well as fellowship training in Cytopathology, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a second fellowship in Genitourinary Pathology at Stanford. He is also a dedicated educator and has presented on numerous topics while at the University of Pennsylvania, including interesting case conferences, clinical effectiveness and quality improvement projects and the inaugural Quality Grand Rounds, as well as leadership and educational conference for the trainees and department at large. He has presented work at the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, Society of Pediatric Pathology, American Society of Human Genetics, and the College of American Pathologists. He has also coauthored articles that have been featured in The American Journal of Dermatopathology, European Urolog y, and the International Journal of Surgical Pathology.

Charles J. Hunter

Daniel F. Brown

Dr. Daniel Brown is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology. Prior to CellNetix, Dr. Brown held a number of leadership roles, including serving as Chair of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine; Chief of the Section of Neuropathology; Director of the Quality Committee; Vice Chair of Network Affairs; and member of the Lehigh Valley Physician Group Board of Governors for the Lehigh Valley Health Network, comprising nine hospital campuses, numerous health centers, physician practices, rehabilitation locations, ExpressCARE sites and other outpatient care locations in seven eastern Pennsylvania counties. Additionally, Dr. Brown has served as a member of the Board of Directors; Laboratory Medical Director; and Director of the Immunohistochemistry Laboratory for HNL Lab Medicine. Dr. Brown earned his master's degree in Business Administration from Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, receiving honors, including induction into the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. David J. Corwin

David J. Corwin, M.D. is the former President of CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories as well as Chief of Pathology and Director of Laboratories at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. He is consistently named by his peers as one of Seattle's top pathologists, appearing year after year in the "Best Doctors" issues of regional publications such as Seattle Magazine and Seattle Metropolitan. Dr. Corwin is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of Washington School of Medicine and is a member of the Consultant Panel at The Center for Health Dispute Resolution. Jolene Albin

Jolene Albin serves as the Account Manager for the North region of Washington. Prior to her role, she spent more than 12 years working in laboratories where she honed her technical expertise, including accessioning surgical pathology and toxicology samples; assisting in bone marrow and fine needle aspirate procedures; triaging time sensitive samples for intraoperative analysis; providing accurate description and dissection of simple to moderately complex surgical specimens; and processing high revenue accounts requiring special care and attention to detail. Jolene has also been involved in leadership roles where she directed laboratory workflow, supervised quality control, streamlined processes to increase efficiency and eliminate wasted product and time, and trained and mentored new employees. Jolene has been honored for her hard work and dedication to patient safety; she is a recipient of the annual Good Catch Award from the CellNetix Patient Safety Committee and a 2022 Washington Patient Safety Coalition Speak-Up Award Finalist. Jon A. Reed

Jon A. Reed, M.D. joined CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories in 2009 from Baylor College of Medicine, where he was Director of Dermatopathology and a tenured Professor of Pathology and of Dermatology. Dr. Reed has an international reputation as an invited lecturer, presenter and researcher. He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards (including "Best Doctors in America" since 2001) and is a member of the editorial boards for several professional journals. He has produced over 100 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters as well as over 120 original abstracts. Dr. Reed attended medical school at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Dermatopathology. As Vice President of Finance, Mark Hayes oversees all financial management functions, including accounting, financial planning, and analysis. Mark is also chair of CellNetix's Finance Committee. Mark has more than 35 years of financial experience and has held senior leadership roles in clinical and anatomic laboratories, as well as wireless communications, retail, and legal industries. He is skilled at leading cross-functional teams in the implementation of corporate initiatives to streamline operations, scale for growth and improve profitability. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science, Accounting from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science, Finance from the University of Oregon.

Sarah Hebdon serves as the Account Manager for the South Puget Sound region. Prior to her role, she served as the Assistant Site Supervisor for our PS Division, helping to oversee the operations and workflow of our full-service laboratory in Tacoma, WA. She also spent more than 10 years as a Lead Pathology Technician where she fine-tuned her technical skills, including bone marrow collection and cutting frozen sections, and working closely with pathologists to provide excellent patient care. Her comprehensive knowledge and technical expertise directly contribute to her excellent service with a client and patient-focused approach. In her free time, Sarah enjoys plants/gardening; reading; cooking; and spending time with her husband, Erik; their two girls, Hailey and Amelia; and their beagle, Baxter.

Susan Morgan serves as CellNetix's VP of Physician Services where she oversees quality and risk management, daily operations and workflow, and facilitates strategic endeavors for the pathology practice. Prior to CellNetix, Susan worked at Puget Sound Institute of Pathology, where she served as their Chief Operating Officer. She has more than 20 years of experience in pathology, including having worked for over a decade as a Pathologists' Assistant. Susan is passionate about patient care and is a member of the Washington Patient Safety Coalition (WPSC) Advisory Group, which provides leadership, strategic planning and direction for the WPSC. Susan is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
