As a now-retired construction manager and one of the founding principals of Carabetta, Donald managed the construction of over 17,000 dwelling units gaining construction management, field engineering and construction safety experience. He developed an overall knowledge of the means and methods of construction, maintaining strict controls over daily performance and identifying potential problems before they became significant. The knowledge he gained from the success of building the Carabetta properties has been passed down to the second generation which oversees operations today.

The daughter of Joe Carabetta, Evelyn is the Director of Property Management for the Massachusetts properties. She brings 25 years of property management expertise to the family organization. She oversees a staff of leasing professionals, property administrators, collection agents and administrative staff. She is highly educated in all facets of building and property management instituting a maintenance program that has proven to keep costs down and build value in each property in order to maintain the attractive and aesthetic appeal of each property.

As Director of Security Operations at Carabetta, Greg has 36 years of extensive experience in the areas of security and resident relations. His mission is to maintain a safe living environment for all tenants living within their complexes and their guests. He closely supervises and monitors security personnel to assure that the high standards set forth are being adhered to all of Carabetta's properties.
The son of Joe Carabetta, throughout Joey's career, he has been involved in the management of construction and rehabilitation projects which include residential and commercial developments throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. Currently, he is in charge of grounds development and preventative maintenance for all of Carabetta's communities. He has oversight for all maintenance contracts for all properties managed by Carabetta. He supervises all trades and craftsmen from plumbers to carpenters and manages Carabetta's fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment.
As CEO of The Carabetta Companies, Joe is no stranger to the real estate industry. He is recognized as the founding principal of the family enterprise and has earned numerous special citations and awards. These acknowledgements range from local non-profit organizations to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. More recently, on October 21, 2007, he was inducted into the Meriden Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in the City of Meriden, CT.
He has had the leadership responsibility for the development of over 20,000 units and currently manages nearly 10,000 residential apartments. He has the unique ability to envision the transformation of difficult sites and outdated buildings into functional and attractive high quality developments. Using foresight and creativity, he "makes projects work."
The majority of his time is directed toward the initial site acquisition, the supervision of field construction, and the review of a project's status at all levels. He oversees the day-to-day operation of all properties and directs the staff of real estate experts.
Joe is skilled in leasing and marketing techniques in the rental of residential properties. He serves as a senior advisor on all aspects of development, property management and construction.
As one of the founders of The Carabetta Companies, Michael was a regional construction manager in charge of grounds development and preventative maintenance for all of Carabetta's communities. He had oversight for all maintenance contracts for all properties managed by Carabetta.
Michael was an outstanding role model for his brothers and will remain in our memory as one of the driving forces of our success.
As one of the founding principals of Carabetta with nearly 60 years in the construction field, Sonny was in command of job safety and health management and training. Sonny was directly involved in the development of over 20,000 residential units, over 2,200 single-family homes and various commercial buildings. He had been a key member involved in all of the development and construction projects undertaken by Carabetta, and from that, he had earned a reputation for outstanding performance on field work.

The son of Joe Carabetta, Salvatore has more than 25 years of extensive experience in development, financing, construction management and property management for all types of real estate. Throughout his career in the family-owned business, he has been directly involved in the management and construction of residential mixed-income properties, including over 100 new, rehabbed and design/build developments.
Salvatore understands the strict requirements for building projects using government tax credits from having completed many Low-Income Housing Tax Credit projects over the past 10 years throughout Connecticut. He supervises the day-to-day management of various projects and a staff of construction experts for projects valued at several hundred million.

Bill brings extensive experience in the development, implementation and management of properties and resident service programs for Carabetta's properties throughout the Northeast. He oversees compliance with governmental rules and regulations for our tax credit properties. He works to increase the value of our portfolio by maximizing property values through repositioning and refinancing.
