BCI was founded in 1961 by James C. Shaw, and began operating in a 10,000 SF plant near the Fox River in Batavia, IL. In 1979 it relocated to a Batavia area industrial park where its current headquarters is located. Multiple expansions have increased its size to 500,000 SF in four Illinois facilities located in Batavia, Bedford Park and Itasca. Second generation Shaw family brothers continue to own and manage the Company, one of the largest independent sheet plants in the Midwest...
