Biography
Arjun has over 30 years of global multi-industry experience spanning Hospitality and Leisure, Private Equity Real Estate, Insurance, Mortgage, Banking and Business process off-shoring. His core expertise lies in the Real Estate realm of Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Distress Real Estate and Value enhancement.
Previously he held senior positions at the Indian Hotels Company, GE Capital, Standard Chartered Bank and Pacific Star Group.
Before founding Avista Asset Management, he was President of Asset Management & Group COO of Pacific Star, a leading Private Equity Real estate investment management firm with a pan Asia focus. In his previous role, Arjun has managed over $4 billion of real estate assets across Asia in multi-strategy funds & mandates on behalf of institutional investors.
At Pacific Star, he was involved in several landmark Real Estate transactions & turn around strategies such as Capital Square - Singapore, Triple One Somerset - Singapore, The Platinum - Shanghai, Cross Tower - Shanghai, KL Pavilion - Kuala Lumpur, Noon Square - Seoul, GH House - Tokyo, Sathorn Gardens - Bangkok, 8 Thonglor - Bangkok, Sunrise City - Ho Chi Minh, etc. to name a few.
At Avista Asset Management his current focus is on delivering asset management services within the real estate spectrum of asset classes for clients across SE Asia, India & China. Areas of interest include Portfolio & Asset Management, Development Management opportunities; Distress Real Estate assets & portfolios, Fund Management across - Commercial, Retail, Residential, Hospitality, and Retirement Homes & Communities.
Arjun is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and in addition, trained as an expert in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) processes. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Kurukshetra University.

Biography
Ashish has over 20 years of experience in Investment Banking across capital markets, cross-border sector-specific investments, corporate restructuring and valuation assignments. He managed financial restructuring transactions at Avista, including Suzlon Energy, Jaiprakash Power Ventures, Jaiprakash Associates and Jindal Steel and Power.
Ashish worked in investment banking teams at Edelweiss Financial Services and ICICI Securities.
He has a PGDM from IIM, Ahmedabad, a Bachelor's of Commerce degree along and he is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Biography
Mohan has over 30 years of experience in the Indian financial markets. His experience ranges from the listed markets to other areas like structured finance, private equity and M&A transactions.
Before joining Avista, Mohan was a promoter-Director of Fortune Financial & Equities Services Pvt Ltd, a company in the advisory space for mid-market companies in India. Some of the transactions done during his tenure include a $ 150m private equity raise for a petrochemicals complex in India.
Before Fortune, Mohan was involved in starting up and/or growing three secondary market brokerage operations. His last stint was in the Edelweiss group, as head of the Private Client and Wealth Management businesses. Before that, he set up and managed the commodity trading business of the Kotak group, in addition to overseeing a host of other areas like IT, compliance and retail equity research. Before that, he set up HDFC Securities for the HDFC Bank group.
Mohan is an engineer from IIT (Bombay) following which he completed his MBA from IIM (Calcutta), both of which are extremely prestigious educational institutions in India. Further, he also went to the London School of Economics and Political Science, London under the Chevening scholarship program for a program in banking and financial services.

Monica Kochhar has extensive experience across industries, with specialized knowledge in consumer products, retail and hospitality.
Monica started her career with a leading hospitality group in India, right after she completed her hotel management program at one of India's most prestigious schools
Post her MBA, Monica worked for India's leading cosmetics company, Lakme, part of the TATA group, which was subsequently sold to Unilever. Here, she gained very valuable product management and sales experience.
Monica holds an MBA in Marketing from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, University of Bombay. She holds a Hotel Management degree from the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Mumbai and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce.

Biography
Mr. Shivaram Ravi has over 16 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Taxation and Treasury. Prior to joining Avista, he has worked with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), Singapore, DP Jindal Group, Singapore and Emami Biotech, Singapore.
He has completed MBA (Finance) from University of Mysore, India, and Professional Business Accountant Programme from ISCA, Singapore and is currently pursuing Executive Program in Banking & Financial Sector from IIM Calcutta.

Rajiv has over 30 years of experience in financial services with experience across corporate finance, structured trade finance, M&A, financial restructuring and business advisory.
In the early years of his career, Rajiv worked for a boutique Investment Bank, 20th Century Finance, across functions like Treasury, Funds Management, Execution and ultimately Client Origination and Relationship(s).
Rajiv then worked with the TATA group, in their strategy team and soon led the Tata Group's foray into Investment Banking at TATA Finance, which had traditionally been a ‘Truck & Fleet finance company'. He built this into a very successful enterprise, making it one of the market leaders within three years. With the investment banking experience gained in the 20th Century and Tata Finance, Rajiv founded Avista in the late '90s as a Mid-Market Investment bank focused on the high growth mid-tier corporates. During the past decade, he has built the business across regions, with the help of a diverse group of people to firmly establish Avista as a Pan Asian Investment Bank. With the help of global partnerships, his current focus is on growing the cross-border business across various corporate finance products and geographies.
Rajiv has an MBA in Finance from SP Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai and is currently pursuing the prestigious OPM program at the Harvard Business School. Rajiv graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
