AVIOR - Key Persons
Danny Netto has over 30 years of experience in accounting/finance related positions, 15 years as CFO, and 10 years of experience in the aerospace industry. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University and a professional accounting designation CPA, CMA. Netto currently serves on the Board of Directors of a publicly traded company and was appointed Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Jean-Michel Biron holds a mechanical engineering degree and started his career at Avior in 2011 as a method engineer at the Laval facility. In 2016 he was appointed the Director of the Montreal business unit where he oversaw the installation of Avior's first automated production cell. In 2019 he and his team were instrumental in Avior being awarded the Small Business Technology Innovation" award by the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC). In early 2020 he started the ACE technology and innovation group and is now responsible for the technology transformation of our three manufacturing sites.

Jean-Philippe Roy is the Director of the Montreal Business Unit which specializes in machining and mechanical assemblies. He has served as a Program Manager for Boeing and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries programs and has extensive experience as a method engineer. Prior to Avior, he worked as an industrial engineer at Bombardier.
Jean-Philippe holds an Aerospace Engineering degree from Montreal Polytechnique and recently completed the MBA program at HEC. He brings a strong business and technical background and has been directly involved in the major new programs transitioned in the last 4 years.

Kevin Steck has over 40 years of experience in aerospace. Initially, he held engineering/program management positions at Northrop Grumman on US ballistic missile programs and then held various composite/aerostructure business development and/or executive positions at Hexcel Structures, NORDAM, AIRBUS-owned STELIA Aerospace and subsidiaries (25-yrs), and now at AVIOR in a post-retirement role. Kevin has a BSCE degree (BYU) and MBA (Univ of Utah). He speaks Italian, is nearing proficiency in French and is active with language study.

Nicholas Jutras is the Director of the Granby business unit that specializes in composite structures. Nicholas has expertise experience in Avior as a design and methods engineer and was more recently the Program Manager for composite structures. He was responsible for the successful launch of the 787 Vertical Fin Fairing, 737 Max APU Inlet, Bell 525 Engine Cowl and most recently the Spirit Airbus A220 pylon fairings project.
Nicholas holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Sherbrooke University, with a program concentration in Aerospace. Preceding this degree, he graduated as an Aircraft design and fabrication Technician, from École Nationale d'Aérotechnique, in St-Hubert, Quebec.

Patrick French has spent the last fourteen years in aerospace doing business development for domestic and international suppliers involved in engineering, processing, machining, sheet metal and assemblies, and composite structures. He is a member of The Wings Clubs of New York; Royal Aeronautical Society; Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering; Wichita Aero Club and Wichita Council of Engineering Societies. He is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology.
Stephen Kearns has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry holding various positions in operations, marketing, and corporate administration. Stephen Kearns was the recipient of Canada's Top 40 Under 40 Award. This award recognizes Canada's executives and entrepreneurs for outstanding professional and personnal achievement. He holds a BA Honors in Economics/Geography from Queen's University in Kingston. His background includes the execution and integration of various business acquisitions and taking a company public. Mr. Kearns currently serves on the Board of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada and AeroMontreal.
