Atlantic Methanol Production Company LLC ("AMPCO") runs a world scale methanol plant located on Bioko Island in Equatorial Guinea, West Africa. The company is owned 45% Marathon E.G. Holding Limited (an indirectly owned subsidiary of ConocoPhillips), 45% Samedan Methanol (an indirectly owned subsidiary of Chevron Corporation), and 10% by SONAGAS (Sociedad Nacional de Gas de Guinea Equatorial).
