As business evolves, changes are inevitable and since taking ownership in 1999 the Lopes family has witnessed many changes. Through continued growth, the Lopes family knew that the facility would need to be expanded. So in July of 2011 an expansive addition was put into action. Following its completion, the facility now has the largest chapel in the area, handicap accessibility as well as an expanded parking area. Over the following years the Lopes family has been able to not only serve more families but offer a variety of options that were never before possible. In 2023, unforeseen circumstances presented themselves and the opportunity for more expansion was realized. The unexpected death of a colleague and health concerns of another, made it possible for AUBERTINE-LOPES FUNERAL HOME to be invited to acquire the WILSON CHAPEL and the CABRAL BAYLIES SQUARE LAMOUREUX FUNERAL HOME businesses.
