Dawn Parsons-Starke

Dr. Parsons-Starke grew up in Chillicothe, Missouri and graduated from the Maple Woods Veterinary Technology program in 1979. She worked as a registered veterinary technician at Claycomo Animal Hospital from 1978 to 1984. She worked at the Bayer research farm in Stanley, Kansas for one year and then moved to Columbia, Missouri to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine. Dr. Parsons-Starke graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She began her career at Claycomo Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 1990 and purchased the practice in 1995. She sold the practice in 2008 and began working for Barry Road Animal Hospital in 2009. She retired in 2018 and then was asked to come to Kearney Animal Clinic to perform surgeries on a part-time basis in 2019. Dr. Parsons-Starke was a partner in the Turks and Caicos Veterinary Associates practice from 2005 to 2018. She served on their board of directors for 8 years. Dr. Parsons-Starke served on the Missouri Veterinary Medical Board from 1998 to 2002. She served on the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association Technician committee for several years. She is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She and her husband live between Liberty and Smithville and enjoy traveling, swimming, boating, spending time with family and friends, and working outside on their property in their free time.

Dr. Amy Bunck

Dr. Amy Bunck is a 1999 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in Prairie Village, Kansas and still enjoys spending time visiting her parents there. She is married with two busy boys. She enjoys gardening, traveling, and riding her horses whenever she has time to spare! She also loves cheering for her kids at all of their sporting events.

Dr. Brianna Pilloni

Dr. Brianna Pilloni is a general practitioner who joined the staff at the Animal Clinic in May of 2020. Dr. Pilloni grew up in Leavenworth, Kansas and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University. Prior to attending Kansas State, Dr. Pilloni received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from The State University of New York. Dr. Pilloni currently lives in Lathrop, Missouri with her three dogs. She enjoys hiking and reading in her spare time.

Dr. Brittany Bartlett

Dr. Brittany Bartlett is a native of Dry Ridge, Kentucky where she was raised on a tobacco and cattle farm. She is a 2013 graduate of Auburn University. WAR EAGLE! After practicing large animal medicine in South Dakota, Dr. Bartlett moved to the Kansas City area in 2016 and has been with the practice since 2019. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, but also likes to dabble in small ruminants, poultry, and exotics. Dr. Bartlett and her husband, Marcus, are the proud parents of their daughter, Chaney Lynn. They also have a bull mastiff named Brier. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and doing anything outdoors - hiking, canoeing, hunting, etc.
