Alpine Ski Shop has been a pillar in the DC, Virginia, and Maryland ski community since we opened our doors in 1971. Our founder, Eddie Bunch, wanted to start a store catering to the growing DMV skier population. His vision began with a knowledgeable staff that actually used the products they were selling; he knew then that his team's passion would complement well with the excitement of his customers. His emphasis on fair prices and customer care put Alpine Ski Shop at the forefront of DC ski culture, and we never looked back... We've changed some over the years, but as long-time customers know, our soul has remained the same. We still use all the products we sell on the slopes, streets, and courts. We practice what we preach, all so that we can pass that knowledge on to you. Our vision is the same as Eddie's was back in 1971, to have a passionate and knowledgeable staff that cares about our customers and the community.
