The company was originally designed to service the Roane County area but as of today, it has grown to cover a large area. ACME Block & Brick now serves Southern Kentucky throughout middle and eastern Tennessee and into northern Georgia. ACME is headquartered in Kingston, TN to provide a central location to operate an ever-growing block and brick business... ACME Block & Brick, Inc. is a company based on the highest standards of quality and committed to delivering the best possible service. As we continue to grow and expand, we will always remain with the tradition that this company was built on... Founded in the late 1890s by the Solomon Family, ACME Block & Brick, Inc. began as ACME Block and Tile Company. The Solomon's ran the business up until 1942, when an entrepreneur, A.J. Rivers, Sr., bought the company.
