Anne Zaki is the Head of Social Impact at Bolt. She was previously the Human Rights Policy Manager with Meta Platforms (formerly named Facebook) where her focus was understanding the rights risks associated with the use of Meta's platforms in North and Southern Africa and working to mitigate those.
Her areas of specialism highlight the protection and impact of conflict on civilians. She has positively contributed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the workplace and continues to prioritise this aspect of organisational development. Her career has exposed her to a range of humanitarian situations that intersect with broader societal and social issues.
Anne joined the Transparency International UK Board in October 2022.

Ben leads Transparency International UK's research and investigations into Britain's role as a hub for the proceeds of international corruption. This encompasses working to highlight the country's shell company industry to give criminals nowhere to hide, strengthening Britain's defences against dirty money and ensuring the UK offers no impunity to corrupt individuals.
He has researched and written seven reports including "At Your Service" which analysed the role played by UK businesses and institutions in laundering the money and reputations of corrupt individuals and regimes.

Cat Evans is Director of European Operations and African Outreach at Independent Diplomat. She has extensive diplomatic experience gained from a UK government career specialising in conflict affected and fragile countries working on a range of political, security, development and humanitarian issues.
Cat was the British Ambassador to Mali and Non-Resident Ambassador to Niger (2018-2020) where she oversaw the expansion of UK engagement in the Sahel and was a member of the International Mediation for the 2015 Algiers Peace Agreement. She has also led various crisis management responses in the field, including the evacuation of UK nationals from Libya.
Cat joined the Transparency International UK Board in October 2022.

Colby Goodman is a Senior Consultant at Transparency International Defence and Security (TI-DS) and a member of the TI US team. He conducts research and provides advice on corruption risks within the international arms trade and other forms of defence sector corruption.
Colby Goodman has fought to reduce corruption risks and prevent harm in US security assistance over the past 15 years by uncovering some of the deeper challenges and illuminating ways to address these challenges.

Colin is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Transparency International UK. This includes people, finance, technology, legal and compliance. He supports the governance in his role as Company Secretary and acts as Safeguarding Officer. The team he leads are focused on developing a high trust culture, delivering efficient operations and ensuring effective compliance and risk management.

Daniel joined Transparency International UK as Chief Executive in 2019. Under his leadership, TI-UK has helped to secure significant legislative reform to close down loopholes allowing dirty money, the proceeds of corruption, into the UK economy. He has overseen our forensic investigations of corruption in Covid-19 procurement, formally feeding into the UK Covid-19 Public Inquiry. Daniel has served as an expert witness to the Committee on Standards in Public Life, along with committees in both Houses of Parliament, as part of our work to increase integrity in politics. He is a regular media commentator on standards in government, political financing and global corruption.
Before joining TI-UK, Daniel served for nearly 6 years as the Chief Executive of the global media support organisation, Internews and has worked on transparency, governance and media initiatives across three continents for Article 19, Albany Associates, Fondation Hirondelle, UNESCO, the University of Pennsylvania and others. He spent his early career as a journalist, editor and broadcaster.
David Anderson (Lord Anderson of Ipswich KBE KC) is a cross-bench peer (since 2018) and a barrister practising from London in the fields of public, EU-related and human rights law. He is a member of the Courts of Appeal of Guernsey and Jersey, a Visiting Professor at King's College London, and chair of the European Institute at University College London. He also co-chairs the All-Party Parliamentary Group on the Rule of Law and chairs the board of trustees of Inter Mediate, a charity founded by Jonathan Powell which facilitates peace negotiations in some of the world's most complex and dangerous conflicts.
David was Chief Executive of The Elders, a group of independent global leaders - mainly former Presidents and UN Secretary Generals - founded by Nelson Mandela working together for peace, justice and human rights, until October 2021. David is now Chair of Anthesis Group, International Alert, and the Joffe Charitable Trust; he is also the Senior Independent Director of Drax Group plc; a Board (‘Council') member of Chatham House, and of the International Budget Partnership; and a member of the Ethical Investment Advisory Group of the Church of England..
David's previously served as Chief Executive of WWF-UK from 2007 where he also chaired WWF's Global Climate and Energy Initiative; Chief Executive of the Transparency International Secretariat based in Berlin; Finance Director and a Deputy Chief Executive of Oxfam; and as Finance Director of the European packaging business Field Group plc, through its management buyout and subsequent successful flotation on the London Stock Exchange.
Denitsa is responsible for conducting qualitative and mixed-methods research projects, producing and facilitating literature reviews, synthesis studies and case-based studies on key topics. She previously worked as Junior Research Executive at YouGov as well as a policy intern for the Administration of the President of Bulgaria at the Unit of Strategic Policies, Analyses and Prognoses.
Dominic spent twenty-seven years in the UK Diplomatic Service (1987-2014). His roles included: UK Ambassador to the OECD (2008-2011), where he was involved in the development of the 2010 UK Bribery Act; Director, Prosperity at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (2011-2012), where he was in charge of Economic and Commercial Diplomacy; and Director at the Cabinet Office (2012-2014) responsible for the UK's Presidency of the G8 on 2013, which focussed on issues of transparency.
During the course of his diplomatic career, Dominic also served in UK missions in Buenos Aires, New Delhi and Washington DC. From 2014 to April 2024, Dominic worked for Equinor (formerly Statoil), most recently as a senior advisor for energy policy and regulation. He is co-author of the Peterson Institute Policy Brief 'Corruption Risks Loom Large over Financing of Green Infrastructure' (September 2022).
Dominic stepped down as a trustee in October 2023 when he was selected as Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for East Hampshire. He rejoined the board in September 2024.

Dr. Michael Ofori-Mensah is Research Project Manager at Transparency International - Defence & Security (TI-DS) where he is responsible for managing the delivery of the Government Defence Integrity Index (GDI).
Until August 2018, Michael was Director of Research at the Institute of Economic Affairs, where he spent 8 years leading research and coordinating a broad range of national and international projects. He has contributed to several public policy reform initiatives in the area of governance and constitution review in Ghana. Michael has undertaken research on economic and political issues and authored several publications on institutional reform, anti-corruption and public financial management.

Duncan leads the public policy, research and advocacy teams of Transparency International UK. His work aims to advance integrity in British public life and stop the flow through the UK of dirty money arising from corruption around the world.
Formerly a Member of Parliament, he attended Cabinet as the parliamentary aide to the Deputy Prime Minister. More recently, he completed a master's degree in conflict, security and development.
Duncan is currently a governor of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, a director of the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust, and a trustee of an associated charitable trust.

Eddie Rich is Chief Executive Officer of the International Hydropower Association (IHA) which is the global voice for sustainable hydropower. He has worked on the role of corporates in international development for over 20 years. Prior to IHA, he was deputy head of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) since the international secretariat was established in 2007, including a period as its executive director. His responsibilities included leading on EITI implementation globally and overseeing the organisation's finance, human resources and communications functions, as well as the organisation of its triennial global conference.
His prior experience included working as the UK Government Department for International Development (DFID)'s representative to Angola and deputy head in Kenya, and as head of DFID's corporate social responsibility team.
Eddie joined the Transparency International UK Board in 2019.

Edward Bickham is the Principal Senior Advisor at Critical Resource and Senior Adviser to the World Gold Council. He is recognised as a leading advisor on sustainability, stakeholder relations and governance issues in the mining and energy sectors.
Edward was formerly Executive Vice President, External Affairs for global mining group, Anglo American plc, between 2000 and Autumn 2009. He was Senior Adviser to the World Gold Council including on the development of the Conflict-Free Gold Standard and on resource nationalism (2010 -13) and, more recently, on the development of the Responsible Gold Mining Principles (2017 - ).
He was a trustee (2010 -19) and Chair (2015-19), of the Institute of Business Ethics, and has been a Trustee of CARE International UK and Chair of its Programme Committee. He is a Board Member of the International Cyanide Management Institute. He is a Visiting Fellow of Cranfield School of Management since 2010.

Emily works on multilateral advocacy for TI-DS, advocating a better integration of anti-corruption into defence, security and peacebuilding policies, strategies and practices. Gloria provides subject matter expertise and advisory service across the broad spectrum of people management disciplines including development and delivery of TI-UK's people strategy and priorities. Gloria is MCIPD qualified with multi-sectoral and multi-disciplinary experience in people management practice.
Harsha supports the Finance Team with the transactional process. Prior to joining the team she worked for non-profit organisations in various finance and administrative roles.

Hilda Cheong is Ethics and Compliance Director at The Crown Estate where she is responsible for developing and implementing its compliance programme, providing guidance on ethical matters and fostering a culture of integrity across the organisation. Prior to this she was a Director in EY (Ernst & Young LLP) where she advised clients on financial crime compliance and internal investigations with a focus on bribery & corruption in the Financial Services sector in UK and Europe.
Hilda was a Governor with the City of London Academy Trust (Southwark Hub) from 2015 to 2024, having held roles in the Finance Committee as well as Chair and Vice-Chair. This provided her with insights on voluntary sector governance, strategy, performance monitoring and assurance.

Irasema is a Research Project Officer for the Government Defence Integrity Index (GDI). She is a researcher specialising in corruption and governance. She completed her PhD in Politics at the University of Sussex where she made significant contributions to the Centre for the Study of Corruption. Her doctoral project employed mixed methods to explain the power dynamics facilitating corruption risks in public procurement. Irasema also has extensive experience working in the Mexican public sector, which includes leading projects that enhanced fiscal transparency and public participation.
James oversees Transparency International UK's financial planning and delivery. He is a qualified accountant who has held various finance roles in the not for profit sector.

James Ford is a Senior Associate at Mayer Brown International LLP. James advises corporates and financial institutions on anti-corruption, economic sanctions, export controls, human rights and money laundering in the context of investigations, complex transactions and compliance programme development and testing.
His experience includes in-house roles in four different sectors. He has been seconded to: the sanctions team of a European-headquartered bank; the group legal team of a European-headquartered mining company; the group export controls team of a major defence company; the disputes team of a major international bank; and the bribery and corruption team of a global oil and gas company. James helped establish and leads the Transparency International Professional Supporters (TIPS) Network, a volunteer initiative of professionals, academics and students aimed at supporting Transparency International's advocacy and outreach efforts.
James joined the Transparency International UK Board in January 2022.
Jem supports our work in Westminster working toward the goal of ending corruption in the UK and the UK's role in facilitating corruption abroad. Jem also leads our UK events programme and is an active member of the UK Anti-Corruption Coalition and UK Anti-SLAPP Coalition.

Jon manages media and communications for Transparency International's UK programmes including work on illicit finance, money and politics and political integrity.
Jonathan leads the TI Global Health Programme, which works advance progress towards Universal Health coverage by ending corruption in the health sector. Jonathan sits on the WHO-GNACTA steering committee on behalf of the programme. With a background in global health, and Jonathan has experience of working in a number of countries, including Bangladesh, Malawi and Nepal to strengthen health systems.

Juliet (she/her) is based in Edinburgh and leads our work in Scotland. She also monitors Wales and Northern Ireland to identify opportunities for TI-UK in those countries. Keri leads on convening across the organisation, providing dedicated support to the Business Integrity programme and flagship events including the Annual Lecture.
With dedicated events experience in the not-for-profit sector, Keri brings expertise communicating about a range of topics from effective democracy to responsible investment, gender equality and climate change. She has organised events on behalf of Westminster Foundation for Democracy, ShareAction and ODI.
Kwaku Osafo currently leads the Economic Crime Prevention team and is the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for the Insurance, Pensions, and Investments division within Lloyds Banking Group. He has over 20 years' experience within financial services, involving strategic oversight, risk and controls and Profit and Loss management.
He was seconded to Transparency International UK in 2020 for a period of 5 months as a member of the Advisory panel for Business Integrity. Kwaku has an Executive MBA from the Cass Business School and studied Economics and Management studies at Cardiff University. He is also a Board Member and Trustee for a Christian charity, providing governance and financial oversight. He joined the FRAC Committee in February 2021 as an Independent Member.

Laurence Cockcroft is a development economist whose interest and commitment to development in Africa has lasted since his first experience in Nigeria as a volunteer (VSO) in 1962.He subsequently worked in Africa for the governments of Zambia and Tanzania and later for the corporate sector (Booker Agriculture) for various international development agencies (FA), World Bank, UNIDO) and for a major UK charitable foundation. He has written and spoken widely on issues in African development and wrote a book on Africa‘s political economy, (Africa's Way: a Journey from the Past) published in 1990.
Laurence is a founding member of Transparency International and was formerly chairman of its UK chapter, and is now a senior adviser to Transparency International UK and a member of Transparency International Secretariat. He is the author of 'Global Corruption: Money, Power, and Ethics in the Modern World'.

Liz David-Barrett is Professor of Governance and Integrity at the University of Sussex and Director of the Centre for the Study of Corruption. Her research focuses on corruption risks at the interface of business and government, including in state capture, public procurement and bribery in international business - and on approaches to countering these risks, including transnational governance networks in law enforcement and investigative journalism. Recent co-edited books include the Dictionary of Corruption (2023) and Understanding Corruption: How Corruption Works in Practice (2022).
Liz engages widely with anti-corruption practitioners globally, in international organisations, governments, the private sector and NGOs; she is also a Senior Advisor at Spotlight on Corruption. In 2022-23, she took leave from Sussex to head the Global Programme on Measuring Corruption at the International Anti-Corruption Academy. Before becoming an academic, Liz worked as a journalist in the Balkans for The Economist and Financial Times.

Lea is a Research Project Officer for the 2025 Government Defence Integrity Index (GDI). Prior to joining us, she was a Defence Budgets and Forecast Analyst at Janes - a defence open-source intelligence company based in London. Lea holds a MA in International Peace and Security from King's College London and a BA in European Studies from University College London.
Maeve leads the operations of the Corporate Anti-Corruption Benchmark, a tool designed to raise business anti-corruption standards. She also conducts research and analysis as part of the Business Integrity team's thought leadership projects. Her current research focuses on the links between corporate anti-corruption and sustainability.
Margot leads Transparency International UK's strategic engagement and policy work with Westminster, working toward the goal of ending corruption in the UK and the UK's role in facilitating corruption abroad. Margot previously worked for Margaret Hodge MP, coordinating the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Anti-Corruption & Responsible Tax, as well as investigator for Global Witness, uncovering corruption in the extractive and logging sectors.
Michael is a Graduate Research Fellow supporting Transparency International's Defence and Security team in Washington, DC. He has extensive research experience in arms control and proliferation - specifically small arms and light weapons - and has worked for the Small Arms Survey, the University of Sydney's School of Public Health, the Centre for Armed Violence Reduction, and others.

Mike Millward's career has spanned corporate security, fraud investigations, business intelligence and crisis response. His most recent role was that of founder and Managing Director of the business intelligence company MRC Global Risk where he advised clients entering new markets on how to mitigate and manage regulatory, operational and reputational risk.
He was previously a Managing Director at Kroll Associates advising clients on regulatory compliance and due diligence and, before joining Kroll, held a similar role at the US risk consultancy Corporate Risk International. Prior to his advisory roles, Mike was head of security and investigations at Merrill Lynch, responsible for corporate security, fraud investigations, due diligence and crisis response, having previously held a similar role at Mercury Communications.
Before entering the corporate sector, Mike served 12 years in the Royal Air Force in a number of investigative roles. In 2017, he was invited to join the Board of Hostage International where he is Hon Secretary responsible for the charity's governance framework and contributes to the charity's core activities.
Mike joined the Transparency International UK Board in November 2023.
Natasha is responsible for supporting and advising the organisation on all HR matters, including policy and procedures, reward and remuneration and employee satisfaction. Prior to joining TI-UK she was in a similar generalist role at the British Red Cross, supporting their UK Operations.

Patrick Sherrington is a Director at KPMG LLP where he focuses on corporate audit in aerospace & defence, telecommunications, consumer goods & retail and the transportation sectors. He has extensive financial reporting expertise in the UK and internationally. He has been a trustee and director of the Unicorn Theatre (registered charity) since 2022 where he is also Chair of their Finance & Risk Committee. They are the largest children's theatre in the UK. He studied Mechanical Engineering and is a Chartered Accountant. He joined the FRAC in February 2025 as an Independent Member.
Prior to this role, Peter worked on anti-corruption issues in Washington D.C. with Financial Accountability and Corporate Transparency Coalition (FACT) and joined us from a House of Commons Whips Office.
Rachel has worked on anti-corruption policy for over a decade, focussing on corruption in the UK and the UK's role as a safe haven for dirty money. She heads up TI-UK's external-facing team, which also hosts the UK Anti-Corruption Coalition Secretariat, and leads TI-UK's government-facing work. She has held roles as Chair of the Economic Crime Civil Society Organisations Steering Group (CSOSG), Co-Chair of the UK Anti-Corruption Coalition, and was a founding member of the UK Open Government Network steering group.
Rory leads project teams working on quantitative benchmarking, thought leadership and policy development. He engages with companies on their anti-corruption priorities, and regularly chairs industry workshops. He is currently leading a programme of research into how a proactive approach to anti-corruption drives successful impact investing outcomes, and on the links between corruption and other ESG factors such as environmental and labour standards.
Rose is a Senior Research Officer specialising in political corruption. Her work covers issues of money in politics, lobbying, the revolving door and open governance. She was the lead researcher and writer for several of Transparency International UK's publications including papers on the House of Lords, the revolving door and lobbying. As well as contributing to the 'House of Cards' report which explored access and influence in UK housing policy and 'Cheques and Balances' which explored money in politics. She's previously held roles at Democracy Club and Spotlight on Corruption, and completed an MA in Corruption and Governance from the University of Sussex.
Rose leads Transparency International UK's strategic engagement with Westminster, working toward the goal of ending corruption in the UK and the UK's role in facilitating corruption abroad. Rose is also an active member of the UK Anti-Corruption Coalition (UKACC) where she contributes to the group's advocacy on political corruption and illicit finance.

As Director of International Engagement, Sara oversees Global Thematic Networks based at Transparency International UK, addressing corruption in the global health and the defence and security sectors; working closely with other TI chapters around the world and the Berlin secretariat. Sara brings senior leadership experience in designing, delivering and overseeing international development programmes to a high standard in 18 countries; working in different institutional capacities, including consultancy services, the UN, a donor agency and a private foundation.

Tilly leads on the Transparency International UK's research on topics including the intersection of corruption with sustainability topics such as human rights and the environment, enhancing anti-corruption approaches with values, measuring the effectiveness of corporate anti-corruption approaches and raising corporate anti-corruption disclosure standards. She supports the running of the Business Integrity Forum. She is also an Alternate Member of the UK EITI Multi-Stakeholder Group.
Tom joined the Transparency International Health Initiative in February 2018 to develop the advocacy and research work streams of the flagship, DFID funded, Open Contracting for Health Project. Tom joined the team having previously worked on International Development projects focusing on Health, Women's Economic Empowerment & Governance. He holds a Master's degree in Corruption and Governance from the University of Sussex.

Valerie Monk is Risk and Compliance Director at Montagu FPP helping European and global SMEs to build maturity in their risk and compliance programmes across healthcare, financial sector services, education, critical data and digital infrastructure sectors.

She volunteered for Transparency International UK in 2020 as a strategic consultant, where she directed the process for the creation of the current 10 year strategy for the organisation.

Xenia Wickett is Director of Wickett Advisory, an advisory and executive coaching business that draws upon geopolitical, strategy and management experience to help organizations and individuals realize their potential. She also serves on the faculty of the Chatham House Academy for Leadership and on the executive board of The Pilgrims UK. Prior to Wickett Advisory, Xenia was the Vice President of Political Analysis and Integrity Due Diligence at Equinor.
Previously, Xenia held positions as the executive director of the PeaceNexus Foundation and director of the project on India and the Subcontinent and executive director for research at the Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center. She has worked in the US government, academia and non-profit worlds covering US foreign policy, America's role in the world, and geopolitics in South Asia.
Xenia joined the Transparency International UK Board in October 2022.
Yi Kang provides advocacy, research, and programmatic support to Transparency International's Global Thematic Networks for Defence & Security and Global Health, aiming to combat corruption and promote good governance in these critical sectors. Originally from Malaysia, Yi Kang also engages with Chapters across the Transparency International Movement, particularly in the Asia Pacific region, to foster collaboration and drive impactful advocacy on related issues.
