I firmly believe healthcare should be about the whole person and therefore I take a holistic approach when dealing with my clients. This accords with the fundamental approach of osteopathy which seeks to diagnose the cause of pain through analysis of a person's entire body and lifestyle, not just an isolated symptom... I am a skilled structural osteopath who uses a variety of techniques which are tailored to each client's particular needs, including functional and visceral techniques. However, the way I practise is directed at more than mere symptom management: it is my intended aim to empower clients through understanding the nature of their diagnosis and the anatomy involved to support them in self-managing their rehabilitation, because prevention is better than cure.
