Welcome! to Stroudwater Cruisers, a family run boat-building and refitting yard established in 1984, and located in Worcestershire. Confusingly we're nowhere near Stroud, Gloucestershire but at the canal basin in Stourport-on-Severn, where the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal joins the River Severn. Stourport-on-Severn is a fascinating Georgian town, dating from 1765, centred on the Basin, adjacent to the River Severn... We build narrowboats to any stage of completion from line-outs or sailaways for completion by owner, or fully fitted. We can advise on everything from suitable layouts, timber and finishes, fabrics, engines, electrical and plumbing equipment etc. all at realistic prices.
