We have been managing The Red Lion since 2004 and, at the end of 2023, we took over the lease and are now running it ourselves. When we first came here as managers, we only planned to stay for a couple of years, but there is something special about Long Compton and The Red Lion that makes us very reluctant to attempt recreating what we have here elsewhere... The pub has seen many changes over the years, but it retains the charm and character of a classic Cotswold country inn.
