QResearch is hosted within the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Medicine Sciences Division, University of Oxford.​... QResearch was established in 2003 as a not-for-profit venture with the generous support of the University of Nottingham and EMIS Health. In 2019 it relocated to the University of Oxford, following the appointment of its academic co-founder, Professor Julia Hippisley-Cox to the University of Oxford. The database is now supported by the University of Oxford and EMIS Health.
