Whitewood & Fleming was established in 1985 by Artistic Directors Elaine Whitewood and Tim Fleming. We are an artist led company, all our work is original... Since we began working with young people who are looked after we have been analysing and developing our own techniques - studying what has worked for us, helped young people develop and speak for themselves and sometimes even enhance their lives... We're Whitewood & Fleming and for over 30 years we've been creating innovative arts experiences within communities, providing unique artist-led training and working with looked after children. Our focus is now on contributing to the debate and looking at the way forward for creative practice with vulnerable children and young people. We are also engaging in the cultural life of our rural community.
