MONZIEVAIRD

The grounds of Loch Monzievaird extend to over 40 acres. The grounds were originally part of Ochtertyre Estate, which was the Murray family home in Perthshire. The Loch itself covers 30 acres and is surrounded by lush plantation of mature Oak, Beech and Scots Pine. The battle of Monzievaird was fought in 1003 on the south side of the Loch, where King Kenneth IV of Scotland was killed...
