The programme supports clubs, societies, programmes and projects that benefit young people aged 11-25 in London and Essex. The Foundation's major programme, the Achievement Awards, is a peer recognition scheme operating in grass roots youth clubs, youth organisations, secondary schools and uniformed organisations. Kingston Royals Swimming Club has been successfully running the Jack Petchey Achievement Award scheme for many years and has recently moved up to silver level. Therefore, a total of 6 awards can be presented to swimmers annually, with each award being worth £250.
