Andrew graduated from QUB School of Law in 1993 and qualified as a solicitor in 1995, following completion of the post-graduate IPLS course. Andrew has specialised exclusively in criminal law throughout this career.
He has undertaken cases at all levels, from representation at police stations through to Magistrates Court, Crown Court, Court of Appeal and House of Lords.Andrew has also appeared before the Parole Commissioners in respect of life sentence reviews, extended custodial sentence reviews and parole breaches.
He has also undertaken judicial reviews in a number of areas as a result of his criminal law work. Andrew has also completed the National Institute of Trial Advocates as an advanced advocate, as organised by the Law Society of Northern Ireland.
Andrew has dealt with a full calendar of offences ranging from road traffic through to murder, terrorism, serious sexual assault and proceeds of crime.
Declan deals with all types of compensation cases including road traffic accidents, slips and trips, accidents at work and medical negligence claims. Over the years he has obtained substantial settlements on behalf of his clients. Declan is an active member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and is also a member of the Clinical Negligence Practitioners Group.
Denis Moloney LL.D. is the longest serving Partner in the Practice, having worked there prior to his Degree and Professional qualification.
Mr Moloney is a Solicitor not only in Northern Ireland - but is on the Roll of Ireland [Dublin] and the Roll of England and Wales. He is a member of Lincoln's Inn - London, a Solicitor Advocate in Northern Ireland and holds Higher Rights in England and Wales. He is a registered Notary Public.
Mr Moloney practices all area of law within the office - Human Rights, Judicial Reviews, Planning, Governance, Employment Law, Civil Liberties but on a daily basis specialises in all aspects of Criminal Law. He uses his Advocacy skills on a daily basis throughout all Courts, primarily in Belfast.
Over the past years Mr Moloney has been heavily involved in Public Inquiries - locally and nationally.

Margaret joined the practice in 1975, assisting the founding partners, Mr. Patrick Donnelly and Mr. James Wall. Margaret has gained invaluable legal experience and knowledge during her career with the Partners. Margaret is the go to person within the office and is responsible for the smooth running of all Departments in a ever growing and diverse Practice.
Margaret has accumulated significant professional and financial management experience and is not only responsible for the day to day running but responsible for all financial and accounting within the Office.
Outside of work Margaret is a keen gardener, charity fundraiser and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
Naomi was admitted to the role of Solicitors in September 2008. She heads the family department and has experience in all areas of both matrimonial and family law. Naomi is a member of both the law society and NIGALA Children Order Panel. She has over a decade of experience in complex divorce and ancillary relief matters.
Patrick studied at Queen's University Belfast graduating in 2009. He completed his apprenticeship in Donnelly & Wall and became a partner in 2019.
He specialises in Criminal Law, Human Rights Law, Judicial Review and Agricultural Law. He accompanies clients daily from the Police Station through to the Magistrates Court, Crown Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and before the Parole Commissioners.
Patrick has extensive experience running jury and judge only trials in the Crown Court including murders, terrorism, drug offences, serious sexual offences, health and safety offences, environmental crime, money laundering and complex fraud. He was appointed in 2022 to serve as a legal chair of the DAERA Independent Appeals Panel for TB/Brucellosis Appeals and Single Farm Payment Appeals.
Patrick has a particular interest in miscarriages of justice and human rights law. His successful Judicial Review cases against the Police Service, Prison Service, Department of Agriculture and the National Crime Agency have challenged discrimination by the State, unlawful detention, unlawful use of powers by investigators and embraced equality issues, prisoners rights, the right to a fair trial and the right to private and family life.
Una graduated from QUB in 1999 with an LLB in Law and qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 after completing her postgraduate qualification from the IPLS at Queens. Una is now a partner in Donnelly and Wall having been employed there continuously since 2000.
Una specialises in criminal law and regularly represents clients in the Magistrates Court, Crown Court and High Court. She also specialises in PACE and Prison Law and regularly attends at Parole Commissioner Hearings on her client's behalf.
She has expertise in Judicial Review and more recently has been involved in high profile public inquiries.
Una assists in the day to day management of the firm and is the current money laundering officer.
