Amy joined the company in 2024. Amy is a qualified dental nurse and oversees day to day management of DJ Maguire & Associates, North Street Dental Care, Newcastle Family Dental Care, Brownlow Family Dental Care, Strabane Family Dental Care, and Cookstown Family Dental Care.

Deborah joined the company in 2014 as a chartered accountant and is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Deborah is responsible for strategic and operational management, accounts and finance, and oversees our 12 practices and administration offices.
Alice qualified from Valencia, Spain. After practicing there, she decided to move home and joined Lisburn Family Dental Care in September 2022.
Alice is always trying to improve her skill set by completing various courses, most recently, she attended a course on aesthetic composite restorations. She considers it a privilege to be able to treat the people in her community and always tries to do her best for each individual. She believes everyone should have a smile they are proud of and is passionate about improving confidence through minimally invasive dentistry. If you are an anxious patient, Alice and the team will make it their mission to put you at ease.
When she is not at work, she's usually practicing Spanish, baking or outdoors hiking and swimming.
Aoife graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Queen's University Belfast in 2003. Following her foundation training year Aoife went on to work in general practice in Belfast before moving a little closer to her native Armagh and joining DJ Maguire & Associates in 2006.
Aoife enjoys all aspects of general dental practice providing a wide range of both NHS and private treatment for her patients. She enjoys providing care for the whole family and has a relaxed and gentle approach to her clinical work.
Aoife keeps up to date with regular training courses and continuing professional development.
Outside of the surgery Aoife spends her time with her husband and young daughter. Her interests include travelling and skiing.
Beccy graduated from Queen's University Belfast with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2018. She completed her clinical training year in Edinburgh. She has recently joined with DJ Maguire & Associates.
Beccy enjoys practicing general dentistry due to the variety of patients she engages with and treatments required. She enjoys being able to treat children and anxious patients as well as elderly patients.
Beccy enjoys keeping active from walking her dogs to playing team sports. She enjoys travelling to foreign destinations and exploring new cultures. She also enjoys skiing in the winter months.
Brian graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 1992 and came to DJ Maguire and Associates in September 1995. He practises general dentistry, both private and NHS.
Brian believes in placing a strong emphasis on the prevention of dental problems, and that good communication between dentist and patient is key to achieving good outcomes.
Brian is married, with three sons. He enjoys music, reading, playing his guitar (badly), and coaching with his sons' junior football team.
Catriona studied in Liverpool, completed Vocational Training in North Wales and worked in Sheffield and Glasgow in Maxillofacial/Oral Surgery units before moving back to Northern Ireland in 2004. She has worked as a Specialist Oral Surgeon locally since then, joining Maguires in 2020. She has a keen interest in education and sedation and completing the Postgraduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation at the University of Newcastle in 2006. She works part time at the School of Dentistry in Belfast teaching Oral Surgery and Conscious Sedation to dental students. Graduating from Queens University Belfast in 2024 Charlie is very eager to continue his development as a dentist at Heathwood House. During his time at university he enjoyed all aspects of dentistry, from endodontic treatment to extractions but most of all aesthetic dentistry and restoring teeth to their true anatomical form. Charlie likes to make people feel at ease and believes no one should feel anxious at the dentist. Outside of dentistry Charlie enjoys playing rugby and golf, keeping himself fit and active.
Christina qualified as a dental surgeon from Queen's University Belfast in 2016. She completed her clinical training year in Newcastle Upon Tyne and stayed on as an associate. She joined Lisburn Family Dental Care as an Associate after moving back home during the pandemic.
Christina has completed a MFDS postgraduate qualification and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. She also has a current role as an Educational Supervisor and is involved in the training of recently graduated dentists.
Christina enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and especially enjoys seeing patients regularly, allowing her to get to know them over time and provide individualised care.
Outside work Christina enjoys travelling, cycling and coffee, more recently combining the three in bike packing trips.
Chris qualified as a dental surgeon from Queen's University, Belfast in 2011. After qualifying he joined the team at DJ Maguire and Associates as a vocational trainee in 2011, and has continued to work as an Associate dentist at DJ Maguire and Associates and in our sister practice, North Street Dental Care since 2012.
Chris has completed his Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental surgery and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He is committed to updating his professional development by attending post-graduate lectures and courses. Chris enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a keen interest in minimally invasive restorative techniques.
Outside of work he enjoys travelling and spending time at the coast- walking and surfing.
Connlaoth recieved his BDS from Queens University Belfast. He completed his vocational training in a sedation practice in the Southern Trust, gaining invaluable experience treating dentally anxious and phobic patients with the use of Inhalation Sedation.
Connlaoth began working at DJ Maguires in 2018 providing both NHS and private treatment. In the coming year he hopes to complete his MFDS and further qualifications. He enjoys cosmetic dentistry, endodontics (root canal treatment) and restoring worn teeth. He prides himself on his ability to put patients at ease, allowing him to help and treat dentally anxious patients.
Originally from the Isle of Man, Dan has also lived in Liverpool before moving to Valencia in 2018 to study Dentistry. He is looking forward to providing care to all his patients in Northern Ireland where he has family close by. Outside of work, Dan can be found on the golf course or practicing his Spanish.
David graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2014. Following this he completed his foundation training in Bristol before returning to Northern Ireland where he has been working within DJ Maguire Dental Group since 2015. He passed the exams for membership of the joint dental faculties in 2016 and undertook the diploma in conscious sedation through Trinity College Dublin from 2019 - 2021, graduating with distinction. He is currently completing a Master's degree in advanced restorative dentistry through the University of Aberdeen.
David provides conscious sedation (both inhaled gas and air, and intravenous sedation) for anxious and phobic patients. He mainly provides this service on a Thursday from North Street Dental Care in Lurgan. He provides all forms of dental treatment under sedation including cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
His favourite approach to treatment is to use the most up to date methods of restoring teeth, using the most advanced materials and techniques to avoid root canal treatment and preserve as much of the natural teeth as possible. This is known as the biomimetic approach to dentistry and it is considered the pinnacle of modern restorative dentistry.
David studied at Queen's University Belfast, graduating in 2014. David's main area of interest is crown and bridge work.
Derek founded the dental group in 1989, and for over three decades has overseen the growth to what it is today. He has been Involved in dentistry in Northern Ireland throughout his career in various other advisory roles.
He has been awarded Fellowship to the Faculty of Dental Trainers (Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh), the Faculty of Dental Surgery (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow), the College of General Dentistry, and the International College of Dentists.
He was awarded an OBE for "Services to Dentistry and the Covid-19 Response" in 2020 and is now Chairman of DJ Maguire Dental Group.
Gerard graduated from Queens University Belfast in Summer of 2022 with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery with Honours. From there, he completed his dental foundation training in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Gerard practices both NHS and private dentistry and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. In his spare time, he enjoys going on hikes and spending weekends surfing in Donegal.
Dr Grainne McCloskey began her dentistry journey in 1999 when she obtained a B.A.B.Dent.Sc from Trinity College Dublin. Since then, she has undertaken numerous surgical and restorative courses including advanced surgical courses, IV sedation training and sinus lift augmentation.
Grainne has been working in general practice and placing and restoring implants for over 20 years using multiple systems such as Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Sweden & Martina, Southern Implants and Zimmer Biomet.
She recently obtained an MSc in Clinical Implantology (UCLAN). Grainne also recently achieved her Masters in Clinical Oral Surgery (University of Ulster), Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry (Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland), MAGDS (RCS Edinburgh), MGDS (RCS Ireland), and Associate Fellowship from the College of General Dentistry.
Grainne is currently completing Advanced Coaching and Mentorship training with UCLAN. She has training and experience in using a CBCT scanner and extensive experience in digital dentistry (cerec) including guided surgery.
Grainne is a Key Opinion Speaker for Ireland for Nobel Biocare and Sweden and Martina, and most recently she has become an examiner for RCS Edinburgh MAGDS exam.
Hannah-Rose graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2024 with a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery. Hannah-Rose enjoys all areas of Dentistry and working with the general public, she looks forward to working with patients who are anxious and putting them at ease. Outside of Dentistry Hannah-Rose enjoys travelling, running and is a keen golfer.
Heather graduated from Queen's University Belfast with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2003, with a distinction in Practice of Dentistry. She was awarded the John Malone medal for clincal excellence in conservative dentistry and the Dentsply Pharmaceutical Award for overall excellence in final examinations.
She has been a member of the dental team at DJ Maguire & Associates since 2004. She has a gentle and friendly manner and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Heather's warm personality and ability to put patients at ease have enabled her to help people by improving their confidence through providing a wide range of dental treatments.
Heather has achieved extensive postgraduate qualifications. In 2009 she was awarded a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Then in 2011 she was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Heather qualified in 2013 for the Master of Science with Merit in Clinical Dentistry (Restorative Dentistry) at Leeds University. She is one of only a few dentists in Northern Ireland to hold this prestigious qualification. Her interest in dentistry is wide-ranging and she continues to further her knowledge and skills by attending regular training courses.

Jo graduated from the University of Liverpool in July 2021 with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery and completed her dental foundation training in Cookstown. She practices both NHS and private dentistry. Her favourite thing about working as a GDP is getting the opportunity to provide treatment to a variety of patients. She really enjoys treating paediatric and elderly patients.
After a days work she enjoys taking her dog for a walk. Outside of dentistry she likes playing and watching rugby.

Joshua graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2015 and completed vocational training in Northern Ireland. Subsequently he undertook core training jobs in maxillofacial surgery and restorative dentistry before completing orthodontic specialty training in Cork.
Laura completed her BDS at Queens University Belfast. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry particularly working with patients to make their mouths healthier.
In her spare time she enjoys playing piano, baking and walking her miniature schnauzer, Ellie.

Leanne graduated from Glasgow University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and loves working alongside patients to help them improve their oral health. In her own time, Leanne enjoys playing hockey and spending time with family and friends.

Leonard joined his family dental group in 2015 as a General Dental Practitioner. He also holds various teaching, training, examining and advisory roles within the profession.
He has been awarded Fellowship to the Faculty of Dental Trainers (Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh), the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine, the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management, the Chartered Management Institute, the College of General Dentistry, and the International College of Dentists.
He is now Managing Director for DJ Maguire Dental Group and is Involved across all clinical, strategic and operational areas of his family practices.
Lyndsey graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2015 with Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She began her career in Glengormley before joining the team at North Street Dental Care in 2016.
Lyndsey continues to keep her knowledge and skills up to date and has recently been awarded a Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow.
She enjoys the variety of general practice and aims to make visits as relaxed and as comfortable as possible. Lyndsey is proficient in Inhation Sedation which she uses to support her more anxious patients. She focuses on Preventative Dentistry to help her patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles and avoid more invasive treatment when possible.
In her spare time Lyndsey enjoys walks with her family and cooking and baking.
Maire graduated as a Dental Surgeon from Queens University in Belfast in 2016. She completed her vocational training in Belfast and joined DJ Maguire and Associates in 2017 as an associate dentist. Maire is currently completing her MJDF qualification and has a keen interest in minimally invasive restorative dentistry.
Maire enjoys running, travelling and reading.
Matthew enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a particular interest in root canal treatments and is studying a Master's degree with King's College London in Endodontics. Since graduating he has continued to develop his ability to offer a wide range of modern treatments to patients and recently completed a Master's Degree in Advanced General Dental Practice.
Molly strives to make every patient's visit as relaxed and comfortable as possible, while providing high quality dentistry.
Molly enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but her particular passion is helping those with broken down or missing teeth smile, eat and talk with confidence. She enjoys treating children and anxious patients.
Nicola qualified as a Dental Surgeon from Queen's University Belfast in 2011 with Distinction in Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology. After qualifying, she completed two years of General Professional Training. This involved providing treatment in General Dental Practice in DJ Maguire & Associates, treating children under General Anaesthetics within the Community setting in Mid Ulster Hospital Magherafelt and Hospital placements within the Restorative and Orthodontic Department at the School of Dentistry, Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast. She also spent some time in an Oral Surgery Clinic in Belfast where she gained valuable experience within this field and in treating patients under intravenous sedation.
Nicola became a full time Dental Associate at DJ Maguire's and Associates in 2013. Nicola completed her post-graduate MFDS in 2013 and is a member of The Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow. She recently completed her Pg Diploma in Conscious Sedation at King's College London in 2021 and passed with distinction. This involved working within the Special Care Dentistry Department at Guy's and St Thomas' hospital London. She is currently working towards her Pg Dip in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry with Monik Vasant and plans to complete her Masters in the next few years.

Nina grew up in Scotland and graduated from University of Glasgow Dental School in 2015. She spent her first six years working in a busy family practice in the west of Scotland. She then moved to New Zealand for 18 months in 2021, working full-time as a dentist during the week and doing as much camping, hiking and swimming as possible on the weekends! She returned to the U.K. in 2023 and settled in Northern Ireland.
As a dentist Nina likes treating young and old across a variety of procedures, both NHS and private. She particularly enjoys helping anxious patients feel more comfortable and giving them back confidence in their smile.
Outside of work, Nina is having fun exploring around her new home and seeing the beautiful countryside on offer.
Orla graduated from Queen's University Belfast with a Batchelor of Dental Surgery Degree with distinction in Paediatrics, Orthodontics and Preventative Dentistry in 2005.
Orla joined DJ Maguire & Associates in 2006 and completed post graduate exams in London to become a member of the Joint Dental Faculties. She practices general dentistry, both NHS and Private and enjoys treating the whole family especially children and patients with additional needs.
Orla is married with two sons. In her free time she enjoys family walks along with shopping and singing in the local choir.

Patrick has completed postgraduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, dental implants, periodontal disease. He is interested in all aspects of dentistry.
Outside of work Patrick is a busy dad, golfer and he recently started repairing watches.
Rebecca qualified from Queen's University Belfast in 2014. She obtained her MJDF postgraduate qualification in 2017 and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons.
Rebecca is interested in general dentistry and enjoys attending courses and training events to keep up to date with the latest techniques. She is happy to offer treatment to patients of all ages and particular finds it rewarding to help nervous patients overcome their fears of dental treatment.

Rheo completed her degree in Kings College London and decided to move back home to N.I to start her career as a dentist. Throughout University Rheo particularly enjoyed working with children and really enjoyed special care dentistry where she treated patients with complex medical needs and disabilities. She is really looking forward to starting this new chapter in her career.
Outside of dentistry Rheo enjoys running, cooking, and spending time playing with her 2 dogs.
Rosie graduated from Biomedical Sciences Queens University Belfast in 2014 & went on to graduate from Dentistry in 2020. She is currently working towards her postgraduate MFDS qualification as well as further training in anti-wrinkle treatments.
Rosie enjoys all aspects dentistry, especially making smiles healthier.
In her own time Rosie enjoys travelling, cooking & baking and spending time with her friends, family & dog, Olive.
Stephen graduated from Queen's University Belfast with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2001. He has worked with DJ Maguire & Associates since 2002.
He practices general dentistry, both NHS and private and is a firm believer in retaining natural teeth where possible. Stephen seeks out training and professional development opportunities that allow him to remain aware and knowledgeable about new dental practices and the latest technology being considered or used. He understands that many people are anxious about dental treatment and so aims to ensure that their visit is as comfortable as possible.
Stephen is married, with one daughter. He has a keen interest in foreign travel, enjoying visits to Asia when possible.
William is a specialist orthodontist working across a number of practices with the group. He is happy to receive referrals from all dentists for an assessment for Orthodontic treatment.

Martina joined the company in 2001. Martina is an experienced dental receptionist and oversees management of company's administrative office which supports and facilitates our 12 practices.
Sadiq is a skilled Orthodontic Therapist dedicated to creating beautiful smiles and enhancing patient confidence. He holds a Master's in Orthodontics from India. Sadiq is passionate about providing personalized care and ensuring a positive experience for all his patients.
Outside of work, Sadiq enjoys spending quality time with his family, exploring new activities, and creating lasting memories.
Victoria is a GDC registered Orthodontic Therapist with 16 years' experience in dentistry. She qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist through the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2013, gaining her Diploma in Ortho Therapy from the University of Central Lancashire. Victoria is passionate, enthusiastic and caring. She strives to learn and challenge herself and treat her patients with respect and empathy.
