Established in the late 1970s from its humble beginnings near Plymouth Magistrates' Court, Devon Chambers has grown to become one of the most well-respected chambers on the Western Circuit. A succession of barristers, among them John Montague, Richard Hough, John Bush and Robert Linford (now His Honour Judge Linford), have led the chambers, nurturing its reputation while staying true to the principles upon which Devon Chambers was founded.
