Angela is responsible for doctors and nurses rotas, newsletter, website and other admin tasks within the practice.

Ann is one of our receptionists with many years' experience. She has admin resposibilty for our stroke patients.
Dr Morton qualified in Dundee in 2008 and did a range of hospital specialities but was mainly focussed on orthopaedics and plastic surgery in Ninewells Hospital. He then spent two years doing Accident and Emergency training in Glasgow and Ayrshire before moving to Dumfries and Galloway for general practice training.
Dr Watkins qualified from the University of Oxford in 2013 and spent his first years as a junior doctor in Exeter before moving to Dumfries and Galloway for further training in general practice. He has had various experience working in acute medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, ENT, dermatology, palliative care and the emergency department. He has a postgraduate diploma in medical education and supports students in the ScotGEM medical school that are placed in the practice and the region.
Dr Dempster qualified from Glasgow University in 1991 and held his first hospital post in Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. He completed his General Practice training in Ayrshire before spending time in Australia and New Zealand working in general practice and paediatrics. On return to Scotland, he joined a large general practice near Edinburgh.
Dr Martin qualified in 2007 from Queens University, Belfast. She worked as a junior doctor in Northern Ireland before starting her GP training in Dumfries and Galloway. She completed posts in Respiratory Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry and Paediatrics. She finished her GP training in Lochnaw Surgery, Stranraer.
Dr Scott has now retired from General Practice - we wish him a long and happy retirement.

Fiona is one of our longest serving admin team members. She has moved from the role of receptionist and is now a member of the secretarial team.

Gillian joined our reception team in October 2021 following 28 years at Barlochan Nursing Home as a senior carer.

Jane is our Senior Secretary. She has worked in the practice for many years and is a valued member of the team.

Liz joined our team in May 2015. She previously worked as an ENT secretary in Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
Campbell Watt is our Practice Manager and is responsible for non-clinical aspects of the practice.

Nicola is a member of the reception team who has recently joined the practice.

Shona joined our team on 2009. She again has a great deal of experience including working in the Smoking Matters Service.
Steph Phillips has joined the team as a receptionist and is an asset to the practice.

Stephanie joined the team at CDMG in 2020 as a receptionist, Stephanie deals with the recall of Diabetic and Cardiac patients.

Viv is one of our receptionists, having joined the practice in 2011. In addition to her reception duties, she also provides admin support for patients with peripheral artery disease.
