Ringcraft is the art of presenting your dog to the best of its abilities so that it can be judged against the national breed standard. The breed standard has been developed over many years to establish what all dogs of that breed should look like. Few dogs will ever meet every part of the breed standard, if they do they will be champions! Part of the fun of ringcraft is learning what is good about your dog and being taught how to show those bits off to their best. Everyone has to start somewhere so we have two kinds of evenings at BKA, training and match nights. On training nights we spend the evening getting your dogs used to being handled. On match nights we have a visiting, fully qualified judge and we have a full competition.
