NMI was founded in 1977 by Mr Nissim Alfassa who began operating from a single rented workshop in Hemel Hempstead, after completing his PHD in Mechanical Engineering. Now in it's 40th year, NMI is still a family-owned business, now assembling all equipment at their head office in Stevenage... At NMI Safety we design, manufacture and fit docking seats to give wheelchair users maximum comfort and security.
