Adam joined the team as an H&V Installation Apprentice in 1998, progressing all the way to his current role as Project Manager. Adam uses his 17 years on-site experience as Installation Engineer to successfully project manage and deliver outstanding results for his clients. His favourite part of the role is seeing the finished installation working efficiently and making a real difference to the building occupants.
When he's not in work, Adam can be found at his local archery club where he loves to take part in target archery several times a week.

Adrian is a business leader with a proven track record in all aspects of delivery. He became a Company Director in 1990, and was responsible for developing our Bristol branch into the successful office it is today. In 2017 he became Managing Director and now manages the company from its headquarters in Bridgend.
His key responsibilities include ensuring client needs are fully understood and expectations are met. He has excellent leadership and collaborative working skills and works hard to provide leadership to the board of directors, empowering each director to allow all of the departments to flourish and for individuals to achieve their full potential. Adrian adopts a flexible and innovative approach with a positive working attitude, which enables him to react well to challenges and changes. He is committed to community investment and works hard to ensure the business leaves a positive legacy in the communities in which we work. Adrian continues to build on the company's renowned reputation as one of the most trusted partners in the building services industry.
Adrian's positive outlook extends to his personal life. Apart from being a keen golfer, he is also a fitness enthusiast who enjoys running, swimming and cycling. He is regularly taking part in triathlon, duathlon and half marathon events across the UK and Europe.
Andrea is a Director and carries out the role of Company Secretary. Andrea is responsible for overseeing all financial activities and legislative requirements for the Company. She qualified as an ACCA in 1996 whilst working for a major accountancy firm. From there, she progressed to FCCA and worked as an Audit Manager looking after a portfolio of clients before making the move to F P Hurley in 2004. Andrea's professional approach, organisational knowledge and ability to assess and make a solid judgement saw her accept the position of Company Secretary in 2012. Andrea ensures that everything runs smoothly and loves that she can make a real difference through her work.
When she's not in work, Andrea loves walking and exploring our beautiful coastlines with her family. She also loves keeping fit and can often be found trying out a new fitness class at her local gym.

- Electrical Project Manager
Andrew has a wealth of experience in electrical project management and his previous role was a M&E Contracts Manager responsible for overseeing large commercial projects and managing a team of project managers. Andrew began his career as an electrical apprentice and qualified as an electrician before moving over to project management, which he supported by studying for his HNC in Building Services Engineering.
Anthony joined the company 2005 as an H&V Fitter's Mate, and progressively worked his way up to his current position as Project Manager. Since joining the company, he has shown great dedication to personal development, from completing his NVQ at night school to successfully gaining his Advanced Diploma in HVAC Mechanical Building Services. After earning his qualifications, he was promoted to Site Foreman and was responsible for running very large projects under the supervision of a project manager, including the challenging £6 million Enterprise Zone project at the University of the West of England.
Anthony's ability to professionally manage and coordinate multiple trades, ensuring an excellent standard of installation workmanship throughout, ultimately led to his promotion as a Project Manager. He now manages large scale projects for the company, putting his wealth of experience in the education, healthcare and commercial sectors to good use.
Outside of work, Anthony enjoys keeping fit through cycling, swimming and running, and has completed the Ironman Triathlon an impressive three times. Recently, he also set up a triathlon club in his home town of Bridgend, which has now attracted over 140 members.
Ben joined the team in 2024 and is a highly experienced Electrical and Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years' experience working in Hong Kong. His capabilities include BIM construction for MEP, energy efficiency and conservation, energy audits, electrical and mechanical system design and project administration. Ben has used various BIM/ 3D design tools to design and coordinate MEP systems and is specialised in his field. Ben holds a BEng (Hons) in Building Services Engineering and also a MSc in Sustainable Urban Development.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys an active lifestyle and his hobbies include swimming and hiking with his family. He is a member of the National Trust and enjoys exploring historical properties and is a firm supporter of their conservation work.
Carl is our Health and Safety Manager with over 20 years' experience in the building services industry. He uses his extensive industry knowledge and skills to enhance and promote a positive health and safety culture at F P Hurley. Carl's duties include legal compliance, improving health and safety policy, identifying and mitigating potential risks to all those affected by our works, site and equipment inspections, ensuring accident reporting follows the correct procedures and generally promoting a positive health and safety culture.
As well as his experience, Carl has completed courses in IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) and NEBOSH (National Examination Board of Occupational Safety and Health) and has qualified with a Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice.
We welcomed Chris to the team in 2018 with a background in surveying. Having recently completed his HNC in Surveying, Chris provides support to our Quantity Surveyors through assisting with monthly valuations, cost-control and sub-contractor management.
In his own time Chris is an avid football fan. As a graduate of history, he also loves reading anything history related and visiting places of historical interest.
Chris took up the position of Estimator in January 2020 and is based at our Bristol office. He joined the company in 2007 as a site-based operative and progressed through the ranks to Senior Craftsman, Foreman, Supervisor and Project Manager. Chris puts the experience he's gained during his twelve years with the company to good use in his current role, priding himself on good organisational and problem-solving skills. He has built up good relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors which, coupled with his multi-role experience in the industry, equips him with the ability to effectively manage the estimation requirements for the Bristol branch.
In his spare time, Chris loves to spend quality time with his young family, taking long woodland walks and keeping active. He also loves woodwork, DIY and music.
Claire Joined the team as a Coordinator and assists with the coordination of several framework agreements which the Company is delivering projects under. Her role includes documentation creation, population, compilation and control, and submission in line with the client's timescale.
Claire's strengths include her ability to work collaboratively as part of a large team, her high level of attention to detail and her knowledge within healthcare.
When Claire is not working, her favourite things are enjoying the outdoors, long walks, reading and spending time with family.
Claire is involved with a variety of administration and work areas that create an interesting and varied job role where two days are never the same. Claire's role includes organising training, fleet administration, assisting the preconstruction team with bids, marketing, implementing social value initiatives and a wide variety of administrative tasks.
When not in work, Claire keeps busy with her young family. Describing herself as an outdoorsy person, she enjoys walking and running and loves visiting beauty hot spots with her family and friends.
Conway has gained over 34 years' experience in the building services field, culminating in his present role as Project Manager for our Cross Hands branch. He has all the essential experience and an enviable wealth of technical knowledge to ensure that works are efficiently coordinated, and that we are meeting the specified standards of material quality and installation workmanship. Conway enjoys the variety that his role brings through meeting new clients and working on a diverse range of projects.
Outside of work, Conway's an avid football fan and can often be found supporting his local team, Swansea City AFC. He also enjoys skiing trips with his friends and family and keeping active.
