Gary Connah - Managing Director

Areas of expertise: Conveyancing (Residential & Commercial), Leases and Wills. Qualifying in 1988 Gary Connah is able to provide years of experience and expertise in both Residential and Commercial Conveyancing and Leases. With broad expertise acting for both sellers and buyers in general Residential Conveyancing, he also has the benefit of approaching these transactions from the builders or landlord's point of view having worked for both on freehold and leasehold properties and sites. He has advised and assisted on the acquisitions of licensed premises, self-build schemes and all aspects of Commercial Property including freehold and leasehold sales, Landlord and Tenant matters, related property work and secured lending. Buying a house is the acquisition of a major asset. So Gary also advises on related matters such as Wills and can identify potential IHT problems. Gary attends both our offices in Shotton and Buckley to provide a complete service to all our clients in this area but is equally capable of handling matters ‘long distance' with his IT skills. Gary lives locally with his wife and two children and enjoys sports. He is a Director and dedicated to the good management of the Company.

Jim Chambers

Areas of Expertise: Employment Consultant Jim is a Freelance Employment Specialist. After a spell as an Oxford academic and seven years running his own business, Jim retrained as a lawyer in the early 1990s and has concentrated on employment law since 1995. He advises a very wide range of clients and has particular expertise in manufacturing, healthcare, freight and logistics, professional services, retailing and higher education. A highly experienced and tenacious advocate, Jim regularly appears in the Employment Tribunals throughout the UK. He has thirteen years' experience of employment law at all levels, both contentious and non-contentious having handled all aspects of corporate and institutional employment work including reorganisations, redundancy programmes, transfers and mergers, disciplinary and grievance proceedings, dismissals, compromise and severance deals. Drafting of employment contracts, handbooks and all manner of service documents, severance agreements, bonus and incentive plans.

Keith A Jones

Areas of Expertise : Civil Litigation, Court of Protection Applications, Powers of Attorney & Injury Claims. Admitted as a Solicitor in 1972 Keith Jones initially undertook house and commercial conveyancing and probate as his main areas of interest. However over the years he has also became responsible for Injury and Accident Claims and General Litigation such as building disputes and civil disputes requiring Court intervention such as House Re-Possession. He has added Court of Protection and Office of the Public Guardian work in recent years to advise and assist with Lasting Powers of Attorney and Applications for Deputyship. He also holds an Honours Degree in Law from London University. Moving from Liverpool, his home town, first to Chester in 1973 and then to Shotton in 1975, Keith Jones has become a part of the local business community living initially at Northop where he was a Community Councillor and actively involved in the Village School PTA, moving to the Vale of Clwyd in the mid 80's where he now relaxes and enjoys part-time retirement. He has been responsible for all IT development within the Company, and for guiding the Company into a successful Law Society accreditation LEXCEL - Legal Excellence
