DP9 - Key Persons
Annabel joined DP9 in July 2022 after completing her Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Westminster and her undergraduate degree in Geography at the University of Sydney, Australia in 2018. Between her degrees, Annabel previously worked at GHD in Melbourne working in the stakeholder consultation and engagement team. She is currently working towards her APC due for submission in 2024. Since joining DP9 she has been involved in a range of projects in and around London and has provided valuable support to the wider team through the preparation of planning applications, conducting site area analysis' and assisting with planning statements.
Charlotte joined DP9 in September 2022 after having worked at Worcester City Council as the Graduate Planning Policy Officer. She graduated from the University of Birmingham with a 2:1 in BSc Planning and Social Policy, and has completed her MSc Urban and Regional Planning.
Jake joined DP9 in September 2022. He has his MRTPI Accreditation in 2021 and completed his MSc Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Birmingham after completing his BA (Hons) Geography at the University of Sussex. He has multiple years of experience working as a planner.
Louis joined DP9 in August 2022, following over five years of working in a range of positions in local authority planning, including most recently Principal Planner at the London Borough of Newham. During this time, he was responsible for leading a team of planning officers, delegated sign off of applications, oversight of committee and processing large scale majors and PPA schemes. As such, Louis has in-depth experience working on a range of applications of varying complexity and a sound holistic understanding of the workings of local authority including planning policy and the decision-making process.
Simon joined DP9 as an Associate in August 2022 after working in the public sector for over eight years. He has specialisms in CIL and S106 having worked at a number of local planning authorities where he was able to provide advice on residential, commercial, retail and healthcare schemes. Simon also has extensive knowledge of five-year housing land supply and varying planning policy matters. He recently completed a masters in Town Planning at London Southbank University, focusing on regeneration schemes within London.
Suzy joined DP9 in October 2022 as an Associate Director. She has experience providing consultancy advice on all aspects of planning in Central London, from development options, testing and feasibility through to strategy implementation. She has advised on a variety of projects involving residential, commercial and mixed-use developments which cover a range of planning issues.
Taylar is a Chartered Town Planner with over 9 years' experience across both the United Kingdom and Australia. Since relocating from Australia in 2019, he has worked in both a local authority setting and also as part of the Savills London Residential and Business Space Planning Team. Taylar is highly experienced in the development and negotiation of complex urban projects, including residential-led mixed-use redevelopments, as well as commercial and industrial schemes across London and the South-East of England.
