Shooting Fish is a professional new-writing theatre company, established in 2002, with bases in Lincoln and Bristol. As an arts charity, our core ethos is the production of new writing for and with communities, often working in areas of high deprivation, where there is little cultural activity. We are dedicated to and passionate about using theatre for social benefit; as an educational tool, to build community cohesion, for the development of life skills and for enjoyment and well-being. We strive to enable empowerment by supporting people to tell relevant stories and have their voices heard... Over the years we have been privileged to work with a wide variety of people and communities. Although not exclusively focused on young people, the delivery of curricular and extracurricular cultural projects for children and young people forms a large proportion of our work.
