Alice Scambler is our leading Family Law Solicitor and Mediator in Kent. Highly experienced in complicated financial cases, Alice's divorce and financial remedy practice include cases with high levels of assets and complex trust arrangements, pensions and company structures. Alice takes a holistic approach, regularly working with other professionals in the financial, actuarial and tax advice industries.
Alice advises clients in the Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells area, as well as elsewhere in the region.

Amanda is head of our Ascot team and is a Director, Family Solicitor and Mediator. She advises on all aspects of family law and can assist both married and unmarried families going through relationship breakdown. Amanda's priority is minimising the emotional and financial cost of relationship breakdown for her clients and their families.
Amanda is a Resolution Accredited Specialist, which required her to demonstrate her thorough knowledge of family law and high levels of skill and expertise in relation to the resolution of complex financial disputes on divorce and separation.
Amanda is a keen runner and currently has a goal to run the six world marathon majors. She combines this with her love of travel and seeing the world one city at a time by running around it!

Caroline Walmsley was appointed Managing Director in October 2024 having previously advised the firm on a consultancy basis as a strategic and tactical business advisor since 2017. An experienced management consultant, Caro has helped to build the leadership team within the firm and create the foundations for its expansion, as well as providing ongoing coaching and mentoring services to the Directors in the firm.

Chris is a member of Resolution and adopts a constructive and solution-focused approach with all his clients as he is passionate that this is more likely to lead to an amicable agreement being reached and avoid the need for expensive litigation. However, where this is not possible Chris is experienced in the court process and able to advise and guide his clients through this.
Chris' interest in technology led him to become a key member (together with Alan Larkin and Sam Paul) of the firm's Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with the University of Brighton between 2016 and 2019. The purpose of this KTP was to explore specific areas where technology could be utilised to improve the client journey. This project was awarded an "Outstanding" grade by Innovate UK, the highest grade available.
He became a member of Resolution's Innovation Committee in 2019.
In his spare time Chris enjoys spending time with his young family and Karate. He also enjoys music and walking his Labrador on the South Downs.

He trained as a solicitor in London before qualifying in 2010. He subsequently relocated to Sussex where he has been practising as a family solicitor since 2014.
