Dan is a Director within our Commercial Department. A background in the food industry has provided Dan with a well rounded understanding of the business world to complement his role as a Director within our Commercial Department.
Having joined the firm as a Commercial Assistant Dan's pragmatic solution driven view on complex legal matters has swiftly built him an excellent reputation with both our commercial clients and fellow professionals and has been recognised with his appointment as a Director in the firm.

Jane is the lead lawyer within our Conveyancing Department working on a broad range of conveyancing transactions and solutions to land law issues.
Jane spent two years in London as Assistant to the Head of the Television and Film Division of the Legal Affairs Department at the BBC before training and qualifying as a Legal Executive with a Nottingham Law Firm, Jane is now achieved status as a fellow of the Institute of legal Executives.
Having taken a career break to have children Jane now utilises her legal experience and practical experience to work with her fellow lawyers in all of the firm's four specialist departments.
Away from the office Jane is kept busy travelling and looking after two children.

Michelle joined Ilett & Clark in January 2021 and is a member of our Matrimonial Department dealing with issues arising from relationship breakdown. Michelle specialises in all aspects of Family Law including divorce, separation, financial and children matters, domestic abuse and cohabitee disputes.
Michelle began her working life in a Law Firm as an Office Junior and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive with a South Yorkshire Firm of Solicitors in 2008 after completing her studies with The Institute of Legal Executives.
Out of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her young family, socialising with friends, travelling, reading and running.
Richard specialises in residential conveyancing. As a founder of the practice Richard has a wealth of legal experience gained over 40 years.
Many of Richard's clients are involved in aviation, either as RAF or commercial airline pilots working in this country or abroad. He also has a long standing connection with the RAF through Michael Spinak and now Jon Gilbert of Routen Chaplin, the independent financial advisors who work alongside Ilett & Clark Solicitors in providing financial and legal advice. In his spare time, Richard is a keen golfer and was for many years a member of the Lindrick Golf Club.

Shanneece is now a Trainee Solicitor specialising in Wills, Trusts and Probate and she is due to qualify in October 2023. Outside of work Shanneece enjoys spending time with her family, friends and walking with her dog.
Simon heads up our Family Law Department and as a specialist in family law for more than a quarter of a century he has amassed considerable experience of acting in cases relating to legal separation and divorce. He is a member of Resolution.
He was one of the first solicitors to qualify as a Collaborative Lawyer and has a passionate belief that Collaborative law can drastically reduce the pain and expense of family breakdown. Simon and his department are also closely involved in Landlord and Tenant litigation, Licensing matters and commercial disputes.
A strong family man, having a long association with the Sheffield area, Simon enjoys football, cricket, sailing and golf.

Susan is a lawyer within the firm's Wills, Trusts and Probate department and a Chartered Fellow of The Institute of Legal Executives.
With more than a quarter of a century's experience as a probate lawyer, Susan's knowledge extends over all matters concerning the preparation of complex wills, obtaining probate and the administration of estates, inheritance tax planning as well as the creation and implementation of powers of attorney. Outside work, Susan enjoys swimming, walking and generally keeping fit.
Beginning his legal career at a large international firm, Tom's experience in this area is complimented by having practised in probate litigation, commercial/agricultural property and having worked closely with many charities.
Being a Notary public, an experienced solicitor, full member of STEP (The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), the Law Society Probate Section, Solicitors for the Elderly and various Action Groups, Tom has secured his place as a leading advisor on complex estate planning.
