Localeyes Optometrists is an Independant Opticians run by Colette Dunsmore. We operate from two branches one in Stonehouse, Larkhall and the other in Viewpark, Uddingston... We operate from Stonehouse, Larkhall offering eye tests, fitting contact lenses and treating red and sore eyes. Colette qualified in Optometry in 1992 and in 2010 passed her Diploma in Therapeutics. She was one of the first 50 optometrists qualified in Therapeutics in the UK. As a result this allows Colette to be able to prescribe medication for sore and infected eyes. Always keen to keep up her training, in 2018 Colette completed an MSc in Clinical Ophthalmology and Vision research and is now studying towards a PhD.
