My name is Aine and I'm a registered veterinary nurse at Glenburn Vets. I predominantly work in our Glengormley branch but can occasionally be found in our Crumlin and Lambeg branches. I studied at Dundalk Institute of Technology and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelors in Science in Veterinary Nursing. I started working at Glenburn Vets in 2022.

I have worked for Glenburn since 2011. I started as an Animal Nursing Assistant, then moved on to a student nurse position. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2018. I am now head Veterinary Nurse. I am mum to two boys aged 7 and 31/2 and a fur baby aged 13. I have a particular interest in geriatric care.

I grew up with a menagerie of animals and was always destined to work professionally with animals in some form or another.
After leaving school, I studied for three years at CAFRE in Enniskillen and left with a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine management from the University of Ulster in 2009.
Upon graduating I travelled the south of England, and Canada working in various yards gaining experience before settling back in Northern Ireland in 2012 and getting a job breaking and training young Polo ponies for the Randox polo team.
I joined the Glenburn team in 2016 as a receptionist and was supported through completing the Animal Nursing Assistant course in Greenmount in 2017. I have always been a very hands on member of staff; I enjoy helping clients with all their queries and also enjoy working with the animals that come in to us. I love our team here in Glenburn and love that no day is ever the same.
I graduated with a veterinary degree in 2009 from UCD. I initially worked in Northern Ireland before travelling to Australia for a few years. I returned to Northern Ireland and started with Glenburn Vets in 2018 initially as a locum before taking on a permanent role in 2020. I enjoy surgical cases and I undertook a post graduate certificate in surgery in 2018 which I completed in 2020.I enjoy walking my dog Stuart and playing and watching rugby when not at work.

My name is Debbie McKenna and I am a RVN. I started volunteering when I was 15 on Saturday mornings in a veterinary clinic close to home. I then went on to complete my Veterinary Care Assistant certificate with this clinic. I started my Level 3 Veterinary Nursing Diploma in 2013 at Greenmount Campus and I gained my qualification in 2016. I started working at Glenburn Veterinary Surgeons in October 2016 and split my time between the Crumlin and Lisburn branches.

Grace provides holiday/sickness cover at reception for all 3 Glenburn branches. Originally a marketing manager by profession, Grace decided to follow her first love of working with animals after a period of illness.
She is passionate about animal welfare and rescue and has a long history of adopting older/special needs cats and dogs.

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2017 and joined the team at Glenburn Veterinary Surgeons as a new graduate. As we were initially a mixed practice, I spent the first few years of my career as a mixed vet before transitioning to a small animal vet. I discovered a passion for small animal medicine, with a special interest in diagnostic imaging and neurology. I am currently working towards a Small Animal Medicine Certificate through Improve International.

Toni has been a qualified RVN since 2018 after studying at Harper Adams University and has held her current position at the practice for over 4 years. As an RVN, Toni is responsible for a range of duties including inpatient care, surgical nursing and diagnostic tests. She is also involved in weight clinics, helping pets shift unwanted pounds. Toni is passionate about looking after inpatients and believes that TLC is an essential part of recovery. She also has a keen interest in exotic species. Outside of the practice, Toni enjoys taking care of her own 2 cats, 2 snakes and a gecko as well as attending music concerts and riding a motorcycle.
