With over 20 years' experience in dentistry, Amy is well known for her gentle and caring approach whilst helping patients improve their oral health.
Qualifying in Birmingham in 2004, Amy won the GDC award for ‘Best in Practice' and was awarded winner for Oral Health Promotion by Oral B.
Ram qualified as a dentist in November 1994 from one of the oldest and prestigious institution - Annamalai University (Rajah Muthiah Dental College & Hospital) in Southern India. He has been trained in oral & maxillofacial surgery in several NHS Hospitals, under the guidance of expert oral & maxillofacial surgery consultants and specialist registrars. Ram has enormous clinical experience in oral surgery treating highly nervous, anxious patients with dental and needle phobia. He has been performing a wide variety of minor oral surgery cases including complex and difficult surgical extractions, extractions of fractured broken teeth, surgical removal of impacted canines and wisdom teeth, surgical retrieval of complex retained roots, apicoectomies, smoothening/recontouring alveolar ridge surgeries and wide spectrum of intraoral suturing surgical techniques. He has been treating several patients with complex medical problems/history needing minor oral surgery procedures. Ram is also continuing with his further higher studies and clinical training at Birmingham University Dental School and has completed Implantology training with Dental Academy Bristol and in Weston-super-Mare.

Joseph is our new Hygienist here at Newent Dental Care, Joseph is a qualified Dental Hygienist from the University of Essex.
With a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care, Joseph brings the latest skills and techniques to our practice, having completed four comprehensive clinical placements during his training treating a wide range of patient's holistically.
Outside of his professional life, Joseph enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. His experiences abroad have enriched his understanding of diverse patient needs and enhanced his empathetic approach to care. Joseph looks forward to welcoming you to our practice and helping you achieve optimal oral health with a friendly and professional touch.
Sue qualified from Birmingham University in 1984 and in 1996 gained a postgraduate qualification from Bristol University in crown and bridge, orthodontics and periodontics.
Sue owned NDC from 1991 to August 2024, moving it in 2012 to its current premises at Court Lane and along with the team has been responsible for its success.
In August 2024 the practice transferred ownership into the excellent new hands of Tamanna Lala Chopra who is excited to continue its success. Sue now works at the practice for 2 days per week and is at Gloucester Royal Hospital in the orthodontic department for half a day.
Away from the practice Sue enjoys spending time with her family, cycling, horses and walking the dog.

Tamanna is the principal dentist at Newent Dental Care. Tamanna graduated as a dentist from Gujarat University in India in 2005. She relocated to UK in 2007 and has over 15 years of experience in providing Private and NHS dentistry. Tamanna completed her postgraduate MSc at Kings College London in Aesthetic Dentistry in 2014.
Tamanna likes to treat patients of all ages and enjoys helping people feel confident with their smile. Her special interests are aesthetics, restorative, and minimally invasive dentistry. She regularly updates herself with new techniques by attending courses to extend her scope of practice and treatments she can offer to patients. Tamanna can provide Smilefast Composite bonding and Smilelign Removable Aligners.
Apart from work, Tamanna loves to spend time with her family and enjoys travelling, reading and running.
