The Coachmakers is a City of London Livery Company, founded by Royal Charter in 1677 by King Charles II... The Coachmakers' charitable activities centre mainly on actively helping young people towards careers in automotive and aerospace engineering, including design and STEM based support roles... We provide support in the form of educational bursaries to students within our associated industries. We also encourage and promote, within those industries, excellence in design, technical development and commercial significance through commitments to individuals for long-term educational courses.
