ASC - Key Persons
As Exhibitions Director, Darren is responsible for managing all exhibitions and events across ASC: within the ASC Gallery, project spaces across our studio buildings, as well as collaborations with external venues and studios. Darren has been part of the ASC team for over 15 years and is a highly experienced curator who can draw out the best from artists and makers.
Having a personal background and practice in the arts, Darren exhibits his own work regularly and has curated countless exhibitions both in his work with ASC and elsewhere. He is also keen walker, having completed the Camino De Santiago walk.
David (Dai) comes from an arts background and previously worked for many years as a studio technician for Bridget Riley.
David has been part of the ASC team for over five years and has an invaluable skill set for general building and maintenance. He is responsible for ensuring all ASC properties are maintained in good working order. Dai has a passion for art and enjoys boating with his family.

Mark is a fully qualified installation and testing electrician and a BA Hons qualified computer software programmer. He has been part of ASC for over 16 years, with a unique set of skills that make him an invaluable part of the team.
Mark is the go-to person for complex infrastructure issues along with IT support and software development, as well as being responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining all our electrical installations. Mark is a keen musician and plays in a band with our Properties Manager.
Having worked in the ASC team for over 25 years as our Properties Manager, Paul has a broad range of experience with site management and maintenance.
Responsible for maintaining ASC's existing properties including fire safety and health and safety compliance, insurances, compliant reporting and testing and overseeing utilities and maintenance. Paul is passionate about art and a keen musician, playing in a band with our IT and Infrastructure Manager.

Peter founded the organisation in 1995 and is from an arts background. He leads the charity, including setting out strategic vision, strategic planning and development.
Peter is responsible to reporting to and advising the Board of Trustees, directing the organisation in line with the Boards vision, liaising with Auditors, and representing the charity and communicating with the general public, stakeholders and government agencies.
Peter's passion is art and he sits on the Beaconsfield Gallery Board of Trustees. He enjoys kayaking and skiing.

After qualifying with a Bachelor of fine arts, Philippa has spent her career working within a range of arts organisations sitting in administrative positions. Having recently joined ASC as the Front of House and Creative Letting Space Administrator she looks forward to working closely alongside Helen within the ASC lettings team! She is a true believer that creativity does not happen in isolation and loves working in spaces that foster a creative community.
Steve is from an arts background and has been part of the ASC team for over 10 years. Responsible for weekly condition and health and safety inspecting and reporting across all ASC properties, Steve is a qualified fire marshal whose duties include testing and reporting on fire safety equipment and installations.
