PIMSS - Key Persons
Martyn Whyte has been promoted to the post of Operations Manager at our headquarters in Bromborough on the Wirral.
He now heads up an expanding team of data, implementation and technical support specialists all offering professional assistance to our growing base of Asset Management System clients. Reporting into our Managing Director, Martin McDonnell, Martyn is an integral part of the new Senior Leadership Team and in addition to overseeing day to day operations, he will also be responsible for developing an operational strategy to align with the company's vision and objectives.
In what is a new role for the business, the data, implementation and technical support teams all report into Martyn. Employing an expanding number of specialists, our data and implementation teams help our clients manage and interpret their data more effectively to ultimately enable them to make more informed investment decisions regarding their housing and associated assets. Our technical support department is the first point of contact for any systems advice and software support requests received from our nationwide base of Housing Association clients.
Having worked at PIMSS since the beginning of 2009, Martyn's main brief is to deliver a more joined up approach across all departments to help provide an enhanced and seamless operational and customer services experience for all our clients. In doing so the ultimate objective is to help our clients to optimise their use of our Asset Management Systems, including our flagship product, PIMSS Asset Management.
Martyn will bring his decade of experience and business knowledge at the company to the fore as Operations Manager, having previously held roles from Data Analyst and Business Analyst through to Data Team Manager. As such, Martyn has significant knowledge of data management including analysis, processing, reporting and interpretation. He has experience of countless software implementations in the Social Housing environment and his intimate knowledge of all our Asset Management Systems and Modules means he has significant expertise in offering technical support and advice.
Previously from Knutsford and now living in Winsford, in what little spare time he has Martyn enjoys football and spending time walking.
Commenting on Martyn's promotion, Martin McDonnell said: "In the time that Martyn has been with us his skills and knowledge have proved invaluable in developing the business into what it is today. His promotion to this new position is acknowledgement that he has significant expertise across the business that deliver real benefits to how our clients are looked after. He's a senior asset in our team and I'm looking forward to working more closely with him."
