Christiane has extensive international experience in working with investors and boards of management.
She was previously with Russell Reynolds, leading assignments across the industrial and manufacturing sectors in Europe. She joined the search industry from an international career with ABB's infrastructure and power generation business, and with the World Bank, where she served as consultant in the bank's private participation in infrastructure team. Christiane has lived and worked in Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. She holds an MBA from the University of Cologne.
Christine has extensive experience in executive search as well as operating experience in the media, advertising and communications sectors.
She was previously with Russell Reynolds, leading assignments across the consumer, media & entertainment, and business services sectors in Europe. Prior to her search career, she worked for Young & Rubicam and as PR consultant at Hill & Knowlton. She holds a degree in Business Economics from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt.

Dan Sunderland is a Special Advisor to Vardis
Dan Sunderland is a Special Advisor to Vardis, enhancing the firm's Financial Officers recruitment capabilities. Dan recently retired from Deloitte & Touche and now serves both as Professor of Practice in the Accounting Group at Northeastern University in Boston and as a consultant on a variety of accounting, auditing and finance projects.
In his 38 year career with Deloitte & Touche, Dan served both as a lead client service partner on a number of the firm's most complex multinational clients and as a senior professional practice leader charged with managing the Firm's quality footprint throughout the United States and around the World. From 2015 to 2020 Dan served as Deloitte's Chief Auditor and its National Leader - Audit and Assurance Services.
Dan's background working with senior management, corporate boards/ audit committees and regulators at critical junctures in the company life-cycle, gives him significant insight into the qualities and characteristics required for a CFO to succeed during times of transition and transformation, hallmarks of private equity ownership. Dan works with Vardis' leadership to develop the Firm's practices and methodology on a US and a global basis, including the development of standardized tools for candidate evaluation and quality control and assists in the direct evaluation of CFO candidates.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Latin from Dickinson College (Magna cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Dick's earlier experience includes two roles as chief executive officer for private equity-backed companies in the building materials sector.
He is a Non-Executive Director of two private equity-backed, international manufacturing companies. Earlier corporate roles include President of the Renewal by Andersen division of Andersen Corporation, Executive Vice-President and General Manager of Midas International, international and domestic leadership roles at the Automotive and JI Case divisions of Tenneco, and brand marketing roles with Pepsi Bottling and Wilson Sporting Goods. Dick has lived in Europe and North America. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a degree in Government.
Eoin has extensive experience as an operating executive supporting multi-nationals and investors on their entry and expansion into the Asia-Pacific region.
He was formerly a human resources director at Rolls Royce, Xerox, Boots and Mars and has significant experience in recruiting and developing senior executives. He began his career as a technical manager at Du Pont before joining Mars as an engineer. Eoin has lived in Asia since moving to Shanghai in 2005. He speaks fluent Mandarin, holds degrees in Engineering and Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel.
Jim was previously with Mainstay Partners, where he supported private equity and venture capital investors on their most pressing leadership recruitment and development needs.
Earlier, he was with Whitehead Mann in its industrial practice and Pendleton James Associates. His career prior to executive search includes operating roles at Versyss, a private equity-backed information services company and Avid Technology, a venture capital-backed software company serving the media and entertainment markets. Jim has a degree in Economics from St. Anselm's College.
For the past 20 years, John has worked closely with investor groups and boards of directors in a range of industries.
He was previously with Mainstay Partners, a private equity boutique, and was a partner with Whitehead Mann where he led the firm's North American technology, media and telecommunications practice. Prior to executive search, he was a corporate officer of Versyss, a private equity-backed information services company where he held both corporate functions and business unit roles. John holds a BA in History and Economics from Principia College.

Mark has extensive experience working with investors and boards of directors in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
He was previously a partner with a specialist private equity-focused search firm, after working for Russell Reynolds and Whitehead Mann. He joined the search industry from a career as a British army officer in the Brigade of Gurkhas. Mark has lived and worked in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He holds a degree in Anthropology from University College London.
Mary's previous experience includes working with a specialist private equity-focused search firm; in private practice as a veterinary surgeon; and as a medical doctor at Charing Cross Hospital.
She has lived and worked in Europe and North America. Mary holds a BVetMed from the Royal Veterinary College, an MBBS from Imperial College London and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of London.
